EDIT: I think we should put down some ground rules for the game, my proposal:
You have to post that you intend to do the mission with 24h of it becoming your turn, and finish the mission before 48h.
If it looks like you won't be able to play in that timeframe, you should ask to get skipped, and you can take your turn after the next guy(or later)

asking to be skipped doesn't really work because it relies on the fact that an unavailable player is still available on the forum.

so.

Kerbal Government Bureaucracy will change the turn order as follow:

lock and load: if you have time to play and nobody else is playing, post that you are currently on a mission, grab the last save and post the results within 8hr

polite rule: if you did your turn in this round, wait for others to have a chance. after 48 hours without anything happen, I will declare a new round.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

Well, somehow, all my screenshots came out black even though I used the same program I used last time. But long story short: I bought the bit on the science tree to the left, with the atmosphere scanner and gravioli detector. I launched a huge pile of jets vertically from the VAB to put the new science stuff (including Science Jr.) in space. On the return, my parachutes bisected the craft and caused Jeb to plummet to the ground and explode. Fortunately, I transmitted most of the science, although the returns were still less than I'd hoped.
