Yeah there are two missing pieces:

A sat on the mun with antennae to minmus and kerbin in and one likewise on minmus

That would close the circuit far better than sat spam - until we get the 5km omni and geosats become possible.

Anyway.

I am thinking about next round mods.
Instead of adding many new part I'd be more in favor of procedural anything (wings and thanks, engines are not there I think)
Then the real chute mod.
And I can reconsider including life support if at least four people second the motion - I personally found it annoying.

I am actually brushing against my memory limit with the current mods, so I'd need some low res textures in order to add more I think.
So I vote for procedural packs that use very little memory.

BTW are we limited to unlocking 1 tech per mission, or do we just spend all the science we can?

EDIT: seems new version of KSP launches in 3 days... bye bye mods!
It does fix the transmission exploit though!

I already put up geosats. They only require one other communitron between mission control and any of them.
If your sats do preserve power, then it's already a full time link. (Barring an odd sync in your sats that puts them all out of LoS of KSP.) If they don't, then it might lose a link when the sat passing between is in shadow.
Fortuntate thing about the omni is it doesn't need targeting, so your sats can come and go as they please without affecting the overall link.

If you don't do the Munar/Minmunar geosyncs, then yea, I guess that'd be my next mission instead of the Lagranges.

I don't think there is Lagrange points in KSP actually...

Not actual ones, no, but that's not a bad thing, because that means there's no need for station-keeping.
I suppose to be technical, my plan is to put sats in a parking orbit around Kerbol that's synchronous with Kerbin.

This seems like an interesting game.

Oh look, I have a steam account.
Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Sorry didn't had time yesterday to integrate mods in (I thing procedural wings at least need manual career integration and realistic chutes need parts removed and tweaked)

Thus I declare round 5 started! Fight!

I don't think we will be updating immediately, since mods needs to be updated first.
What's the status on update shenanigans LoS?

Munar Relays are Go.
Due to game specifications, there's no such thing as a Munarsynchronous orbit. The altitude and speed put it outside Mun's SOI.
So I settled for putting a pair of relay sats as high in Mun's SOI as I could manage. They're a few degrees shy of being fully opposed, which means that they're always able to contact KSP. If you can connect to one, you'll get a signal home, though they can't reach all of the Munar surface at once.

If your mission requires an additional sat or two, feel free to put them in orbit and hook them to the others. Both of my sats have an unused dish waiting for such a need. (Assuming it's even needed, since the Arc the DTS covers includes anything in a low to medium orbit.)

Also forgot to take screenies for the most part. Got just one from when I got a nice direct KSP-Mun flightpath, plus a Tracking Center one.

Indeed!
And being that that was such a successful mission for me, (not even one quickload, and only one revert from power loss,) I'm probably going to set up a Minmunar relay set as well.
Kinda wish I was earning science myself, but being that I'm enabling everyone else to mine tons of science, I'm not overly concerned.
