a totally normal RTD
« on: November 07, 2013, 08:04:06 pm »

this RTD will be totally normal. make a normal character. i will let you have a +1 bonus in 2 skills, and any general knowledge of what you can justify in a backstory. this, i want to be minimalist, no becoming gods. i wnat to keep it somewhat realistic. i will throw twists in, so it is more interesting than real life. i can take on about 7 players. also, if you are a character, fair warning: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=124700.0
that will be used if you are not posting promptly ( yes, you will have some lee-way)
have a nice day!

I'd settle for capitalization. although all lower case seems to be zk's thing.

Name: Robert Bobbington
Profession: Car Salesman
Age: 30
Appearance: So average you're likely to forget him when you look away.

History: Born to middle class parents, of average income, he was always average in school and sports. Taking to a rather average career path he goes home to his average wife in their average home in their average town. Every single thing about this man is just that. Average. He has no notable skills or hobbies. The only outstanding thing on his record is that he is average.

oh, and a backstory would be nice, for you because you can justify knowledge, and for me so i can ... learn about the characters.

also,

on your average day, you notice an average person walking funny, and trying to buy a crappy car. he seems to maybe want to hurt you. how do you respond?

You clearly are unfamiliar with the true meaning of "minimalist".

Also, spelling and grammar are nice.

Name: Angel Beatrice Carlson
Profession: First Grader
Age: 5
Appearance: Angel looks like a fairly short (~3'1") kindergartner. She has straight auburn hair to her shoulders, pale skin, and blue eyes. She wears glasses and green clothes of various sorts.
History: Angel is a child prodigy and not at all based on every other character named Angel I have played.

Skills:
+1 to academics
+1 to cuteness (ie not being attacked by normal people)

Be terrified. Find a 1st grader who seems like they'd be named Angel. Throw the little girl at the man. Flee

you just gained 2 levels for making the GM laugh! (unfortunately, levels do not translate to anything in-game,however, out of game, they can be bragging points)

Avoid being thrown. Use cuteness to avoid being-throwedness.

Avoid being shot.
Actually, avoid pretty much any action some other character takes against me, using cuteness if viable.

I really hope he succeeds in his "Go to school and shoot up the place" up until the using the weapon and realizing its offensive.

"You [6] steal the modern AKR140004L337, you take the gun and head to [6] a large school filled with innocent children you aim the gun [1] and decide that you probably shouldn't. Instead you show the children all about gun safety and prevent countless accidental deaths in the future. [1] You see nothing wrong with this character, in fact he's a role model for every gun owner there is."

Zechariah Dimikaelo, Male, 14
Background: Kid with bipolar disorder. He has incredible manners despite being "on the streets," an orphan. You would think he was fully and properly educated had you not known him. He is dangerous due to his ability to manipulate well, but is also kind and caring at the same time. Apple juice gives him so much energy it's scary. A true anomaly amongst the throngs of daylight.
Appearance: Brown eyes, black hair, light brown skin, medium build, above average height, wavy and unkempt hair. Has dimples.
+1 to Archery
+1 to Stealth

Educate children about gun safety, eventually getting money to show up at schools. It's a legal kind of stealing.

i will post actions at some point, but as i type this, i am severly sleep deprived, and i will probably not post an action.

I've been there. Yeah, don't type turns when you should be getting ready for bed. Down that path lies staying up to midnight or beyond, loss of leep, and worst of all...subpar turns.

(3)
the armed staff at the school only sort of shoot you, them drawing there pistols as they have been trained, and using training that they had, and u do not get seriously hurt, and this happens because you were there to teach gun safety, so you are not seriously hurt from bringing a gun to a school WITHOUT TELLING PEOPLE PRIOR to it.

Avoid being shot.
Actually, avoid pretty much any action some other character takes against me, using cuteness if viable.

(5) you are safe, in your crib, and you are happy and you are cute.

Be terrified. Find a 1st grader who seems like they'd be named Angel. Throw the little girl at the man. Flee

(1) you reach up into the sky, and you throw an actual angel at the person, causing them to get pissed at you, and lop off an amount of your limbs exactly equal to pi with their flaming sword, and so they instantly cauterize the wound, and so you are still alive. so you are happy that you are alive.

I really hope he succeeds in his "Go to school and shoot up the place" up until the using the weapon and realizing its offensive.

"You [6] steal the modern AKR140004L337, you take the gun and head to [6] a large school filled with innocent children you aim the gun [1] and decide that you probably shouldn't. would you like to join this game? i would be happy to have you join. if it suts you, you may join it. the limit was there only to kep there from being like 20 people in the game.

bad guys: (X) everyone fails to get bitten by the enemy still shrouded by the mystery of the twist!!

sorry for any mistakes/unjust rulings, but at my time of posting i am sleep deprived, and i will surely be more in my mind next time i post the actions.
also, if you are a player, please put your actions in bold so it will make it easier for me to see what is an action and what is just joking around in jest.
also, if you post multiple actions, unless someone directly acts against you, i will always take the first action you post, and the only time that i ould break that if your previous action was a arbitrary curiosity one, and say someone tries to attack you, then i would allow you to change so that you can better defend yourself. thank you and have a nice day!
