Event: a single sports car passes by, and out of it leans a man dressed in what appears to be golden suit, with golden eyes and a pink mohawk. He says "Race you to the ends of the earth! Winner takes all!" and drives off.

There are some secrets lovers should never keep from each other, and some secrets that are physically incapable of being kept from each other. This is in the latter category.

Sorry for slow updates, been busy.
I'll see if I can work on it in a bit.

And yes, you can always join.

I'm thinking about making my motto be "screw the player limit"
What do you guys think?

I think you should get Wwolin's generator and run a Looter's Delight game. It would be interesting playing it with 10+ people instead of 6.

Well 'screwing the player limit' didn't work out well for wizards and whiskey in any case, the disicion is still up to you however.

You have a point there.
Although that one was also plagued by it having way too many stats to track and letting people create their own spells.
That never ends well.

I still need to read through that.

Edit: don't know what happened there.

Anyway, it still means there is a trot of stuff to remember and catalogue, with illustrating, NPCS stats over multiple games and figuring out if an action goes to an orb and that's a lot more than W and W.

Or add another layer of randomness to his generator, THEN running LD with N players.
Your 42 fans all join immediately.
The first update takes 4 hours to write.
Someone manages to get a flamethrower that throws void instead, with super-long range enhancements. He/she uses it to implode 18 players in the first turn.
Everyone chooses to respawn.
The second turn takes 3 hours as a result of all the death and carnage.

That. Would. Be. So. Epic.
BUT.... it would take a lot of time. And other mastahcheese games would slow down because of it.

THE GLORIOUS UNICORN.
I tried, and it didn't work there either.
AND IT WAS ABOUT AS MINIMALIST AS IT CAN GET.

Well, the thing about my update speed is that usually I only have the time to respond to things, and then I get days where I have tons of time, which is why a lot of the time my games all update on the same day.
So adding another project may or may not make a noticeable difference.
Also, I seem to take more time when I don't illustrate things. I don't know why.

if it doesn't work then your game is too complex therefore not minimalist

It died because I pretty much abandoned it, due to loss of interest.
Not complexity.

Illustrated looters delight with no player cap. Awesome idea.

Oh, oh, and with not all the players existing on the same level or plane of existance, but all existing in 4 at once; There's 13 levels in a circle (A, 2, 3... 10, J, Q, K, A, 2, 3...), and players will exist on 4 consecutive levels at once. They can see and interact with any players or loot on any of their levels, but not on other levels... even though they exist in the exact same space!

Loot that spawns for a player exists on the same levels as that player; if another player takes it, it might not be able to affect everyone that player sees.

Alex spawns on layers 5-8. He starts with a awesome sports car. Bob spawns on layers 8-J, spawns with a sniper rifle, and shoots Alex. He steals Alex's car, then tries to drive over Carl, who spawned on layers 9-Q. Carl sees Bob floating towards him, and freaks out. Bob sees Carl passing through the hood of the car, and freaks out until he just shoots Carl.

You'll rarely have to worry about players on other levels. However, there are many a object that allows passage between levels, or even separation (Such as moving you from Q-2 to Q, 2, 3, 8).

All levels are identical except for the players and loot in them, and what the players do to them.

OK, even if this doesn't become how I'm imagining this, someone has to make a 13 layers of hell arena game.
And yes, the existing in four layers does correspond to having four suits in a deck of cards.
