Can I have the power to slap people with my dead fish? Or anything dead nearby? It should do damage, and gross people out or something.
Also I want a potato gun. It fires boiling poisoned potatoes, and it has, say, 10 potatoes.
Also, desc. Would be Asian man, 30’s, glasses, smart???-ish
And mediocre fighting skills, ok shooting. (Military training-from drafting or whatnot).

Stephano Falcone

(thanks for for the inventory list. The only thing I can imagine that Stephano would have grabbed from the house is a sharp kitchen knife that he could use to defend himself if his gun was taken away. If he could get one of those, that would be good.)

Rush downstairs as quickly as I can. Find and follow Iris. If I see someone open the trap door and start coming down the stairs, then take out my gun and fire a few warning shots toward the trap door.

(Note to self: If I encounter a mirror at some point, take off my glasses and check if I can heal myself by looking at my reflection. Probably not, but worth a try.)

Events taking place in some location

You dig into your pockets while the bouncer watches with a smug expression. Unfortunately, your pockets are as empty as they were when you began, no objects have magically materialized in them.
"Please, allow me Sir." Jack says to you, turning his hand for an instant to show you the Ace of Hearts tucked in his palm.
"Hi buddy." he says as he approaches the bouncer.
"I'm Jack. Jack Krank." he adds, extending his hand for a handshake.
The bouncer looks at his hand for a moment before accepting it. You see a faint light as their hands touch. The bouncer's expression instantly changes as their handshake occurs, his face showing a big, vacant smile.
"Now we're friends, right?"
The bouncer seems unsure for a second. He nods.
"That's right. Really good friends. Think you can do your friends a favor and let them in?"
The bouncer mumbles something about an invitation.
"Yeah, we forgot them at home. But you know us, right? You know we have them. On my word as a friend. So it's just like having them with us, right?"
The bouncer considers that for a second and then nods again.
"Perfect! Thanks buddy!"
The bouncer smiles and waves while the two of you walk into the Casino. As the two of you walk through a small entrance area, Jack whispers from behind you, using your body as cover.
"That was an Ace and he was pretty weak-willed so it should last for a while. Long enough to forget. As long as nobody checks on him, we should be fine."
You go through a set of doors and into a larger room. A young girl is waiting on the other side of a booth, surrounded by various expensive-looking coats and bags.
"Hello gentlemen and welcome to the Queen's Tower Casino. Any coats, bags or other objects you wish to check-in? May I remind you that checking-in all firearms before entering is mandatory."
The Casino proper is through a set of soundproofed doors.

♚The Doll Prince: Uninvited Guests♚

It turns out that Jack is pretty useful after all. Napoleon is looking forward to seeing whatever the pleb can do with the other cards. All of this seemed oddly convenient to him. After all, what are the odds of a card-wielding man accompanying him to a place, which is named after the person he is seeking, where his abilities will really shine? Given that he seemed to be in an eldritch location, it is extremely likely that the Queen is actively constructing a scenario for him to follow to a currently unknown end. Either that or this is all a dream and Napoleon is still at home, facing yet another day in his boring life.

Shuddering at the implication, Napoleon responded, "Thank you but I'm fine. As for any weapons, I... don't carry any."

<'Other than my brilliant mind and a swarm of dolls,'> he added mentally.

Thinking for a moment, Napoleon continued, "Anyway, my friend and I are new in town and we're interested in whatever amenities and services your casino provides. Do you care to spare a brochure?"

Receive a brochure, if any, and enter the casino proper
The girl in the booth appears perplexed for a second but them smiles.
"Certainly, sir."
She searches under a counter and produces a multicolored brochure happily declaring that 'In Queen's Tower Casino, everyone deserves to be treated like Royalty.' It displays some images of people gambling or swimming in a giant pool or receiving a message, all with a smile on their face.  It goes on to list the types of rooms and services offered, which is pretty much what you'd expect from this sort of place.
"Here at Queen's Tower Casino we are happy to provide you with anything your heart desires."
There's also a low-detail map of the casino. The main floor (which from what you understand is closed off to the uninvited for tonight's event) is arranged in concentric circles containing everything from slot machines to blackjack to roulette. At the center there is some sort of stage-bar combination. The West leads to the hotel part of the casino as well as some restaurants. The North contains the cashiers as well as various unmarked rooms, presumably meant for the staff. The East has some VIP and high-roller rooms. The final parts of the brochure offer prices for the most common types of service and accommodation as well as some combination offers. As expected, the prices are exorbitant.
"If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to ask me or any other member of the staff. We will be happy to help in any way we can."

That done, you enter the casino proper. It's somewhat darker than you expected, many of the lights are closed, making the sea of multicolored slot-machine screens appear all the more prominent. There's people moving about, most of them are well dressed. There's a lot of people in here but the place is far from packed. If anything the giant hall looks somewhat empty.

The South section, where you currently are, has some ATMs and cashier booths as well as a bar. Said bar has been converted to include a buffet which has attracted a good number of people to it.

"Oh, food! Good. Haven't had any since she brought me here. I think I'll go grab a bite and then hit the tables to restock." Jack states as he begins walking towards the bar.

((I'd say it doesn't work with a mirror. If that was the case it would probably also make sense to heal yourself simply by looking at your ungloved hand or something.))

Let's say you got that knife.

You are already downstairs. And Iris is not here. Did she go on ahead without you?
No, she's still on the floor above.
But if she's still on the floor above then that means...
They caught her. She's stalling them to let you escape.
You're not exactly sure how you know that.
They're threatening to kill her unless she tells them where you are.
Even if that's the case then you still don't know how to-
There's a tunnel hidden behind that box in the corner.
Okay, that's weird. Where are those thoughts coming from? Are you hallucinating? How hard did you hit your head?

Campaign: Hills of Midnight, on road

Can I maybe advance in reverse of the spell's travel path? intercept it so it doesn't get past us? How far off are we from the main fire line it's using as its primary mode of transit? If we're on it already, did I manage to stop it from getting past us?
You're very close to the spell's main travel point. If the spell was coming from one direction then that would be possible. But it's coming from both East and West and you're caught in the middle of the two advancing waves so cutting it off is not possible.

Anyway, let's say you cleaned the effect in your immediate area, you and everyone else are feeling OK.

Campaign: Hills of Midnight, forward scout

((I'm kinda disappointed that nobody else saw that brilliant EXPLOSION there  :P))

Theri; Campaign
Time to~...♪♫♩Get myself back where I came from, or so help me; goodbye!♫♪

Theri had the most (personally) humorous depiction of her throw in a watercolor imagery in mind as she stuck prone to the ground, while listening for other birds. Their calls shook her from the brief moment of respite, as she was now concerned about how many there were around her, and a thought noted that they would be investigating the area of explosion...anf perhaps even revealing their location.

Seeing as there was also little time in communication, and wondering if there explosion was big enough to wipe out the whole...erm, murder behind her, she began to get herself back home posthaste.

If I intuit right and my magic can be covered by the blast: Issue the most concise message I can think to warn Irine of the situation (inasmuch as "Ambush ahead; crows and cannons; prepare troops. Am ok" could sound). [Or yknow, safer magic relay via reaching out to River then using him as a proxy]

Otherwise; get back HOME. Safely and inconspicuously. If I can cast a magic "flare" in the wrong direction to help mislead; integrate it into narrative!

If ever I meet any allies along the way. Give concise detail on what just occurred, with the emphasis for preparing for battle and regrouping.

You figure that the magic released by the explosion is probably enough to conceal your communication, so you go ahead and send the message.

You reason you could cause some sort of magical distraction but decide not to risk it for now, not unless it becomes apparent that you need it. You've never attempted it before so if something were to go horribly wrong you wouldn't want to face it in such a dangerous territory.

You keep retreating. You hear some monsterbirds fly high above you but they are not attacking, they merely pass you by. Looks like they didn't spot you.

You finally manage to put some distance between you and the enemy when you are reunited with River who is ecstatic to see you are OK. A few minutes of running later you meet up with Nikolai who is leading a small detachment of warriors, most of them equipped for ranged combat. You pause to rest for a while as you decide what you should do next.

Nikolai will lead (retroactively?) the party going to help Theri!
Shouldn't have given Ike the second Mystifying Mirage. It would be useful for ambushing these ambushers.
You and the water mage gather some men, focusing mostly on those capable of ranged combat, since you will most likely be fighting those monsterbirds. You direct the melee fighters (mostly swordsmen and spearmen) to stay close to the archers and defend them from anything that gets close.

You keep walking for a few minutes until you meet up with Theri and River. Looks like she managed to escape undetected. You take a minute to exchange information and decide whether you should go ahead and attack the enemy position or retreat and wait until morning.

Right now the enemy is disorganized and probably have no idea what they're facing. Theri on the other hand has an idea of their general location and capabilities (several groups of monsterbirds supported by a small number of beastmen hiding in the high ground). Striking now would give you the best chances of striking a decisive blow, before they can reorganize and relocate. On the other hand the enemy has the natural advantage during nighttime. It might be better to wait until morning and attack with all your forces and your magical assets supporting you. Victory would almost certainly be assured then. If you're lucky the enemy could retreat during nightime so you won't even have to fight them (at least not now). But if they don't retreat, then fighting them in the day will most likely result to more damage to you. One well placed attack on your supplies would be a major setback. One well placed artillery strike (easier to do in broad daylight) could rob you of a large number of recruits or an important asset.

In this darkness the birds will be hard to spot, the moon offers some light but not too much, especially when there's hills surrounding you and it's so close to the horizon. You could always use your Signalers to alleviate that problem, they're supposed to be magical flare guns more or less.

From what Theri and the others who have encountered them have told you, the monsterbirds have good nightvision and are capable of sensing magic. Approaching them undetected won't be easy, though you aren't sure if they're intelligent enough to be able to alert others of your position if they spot you. Those things also have some sort of paralytic poison. Your healing potions might be able to counteract the effects but you don't have many of them.

There's also the problem of enemy artillery. Theri destroyed one of their Lightning Cannons but they might have more. You glance at the crossbow Lune is carrying for you. You bet if Tsared it could be used to counterattack their artillery in a way they wouldn't expect (especially if you used one of your special bolts), though it would make you quite a target. Alternatively you could just charge their positions and try to take them by surprise, stay in the open as little as possible, though that is bound to result in more casualties for you even with the darkness helping to conceal you.

((If you decide to go ahead with the attack, unless you want to try something really fancy I'll probably just make a few rolls to figure out what everyone does and how well they do it to determine the outcome, maybe pause if something of crucial importance occurs.))

Maximus: Sarboard Hangar Section

Campaign, Ike!

"Yeah, getting violently exploded looks to be an occupational hazard around the likes of us. Best of luck to ya though, and take care not to get eaten by black void monsters or something!"

Grab Alan's eyeballs and move along to rejoin the others (eventually, presumably).
You manage to grab the Eyes. They appear to be glowing more brightly and are quite warm. There's a faint ethereal flame surrounding them.
You make sure to put them somewhere you can easily throw them away, in case they decide to reactivate again.

You'll be there next turn. I'd say you're there this turn but I wanna give it a turn in case they decide to do anything drastic.

((Been swamped with work and homework.))

Continue following Ike. Meanwhile, try to ask one of the mages in our group about what the hell just happened.
In this case the Water mage has no idea. You guess just because someone is a mage doesn't necessarily mean they have any idea what's going on, especially when it comes to Chaos magic.

Anyway, let's see...

*Potato gun

Character creation roll is good so let's say your gun is super-powered. Give me a name and you're done.

Check with the water mages, are there side-effects from being within my influence? Also specifically check in with the potion master on this, their unique perspective might provide unexpected insight. Also there's no way she didn't take advantage of what I'm doing to run SOME kind of experiment.

Alan, Magical Spider Girl

Alan squees as he notices his new form. <I'm a chubby spider girl! That's so cool! I can finally fulfil my dream of becoming an unnecessarily animu Spider-Man sidekick! Thanks Ammie! Ooh, does this mean you're my mom now? That'd be cool, I haven't had one of those in a while! Watch out for buses though, they have mom magnets under their wheels. Did you have a mom, Ammie? I bet she was named Charloette, because if you have a spider that can write stuff in its web it's only a matter of time until it grows to the size of a building. Was she bigger than you? Am I a baby? What do I eat? How big will I grow? Where is this place? Vanilla or strawberry? Can I climb walls? I wanna try climbing walls!>

Be exuberant, ask a ton of questions. See if Ammie's capable of conversing through her power of being an anime girl or if she's capable of telepathy or just plain speech or what. Continue charging the Mega Milkshake.
((Oh dear, I forgot Alan. That's what I get for writing turns in 2 a.m.))

She doesn't talk to you, at least not in the traditional sense. But you have an understanding of what she feels and what she wants as well as a desire to please her. Said desire is not unnatural, it feels more like a desire to please yourself, as if in a way the two of you are the same person. You get the sense she has some understanding of you as well, so she can probably hear your questions or at least feel you asking them. And there's also the power. You're donating her so much power. Or is she donating it to you? It's hard to tell.

If you focus you can remember some things about the body you are currently inhabiting. You know this body a result of your union, made in her image and maintained by her energy, so it shares both her gifts and your abilities. You can still summon things and she can still use her abilities to consume and remake the world. You can feel it in the way the pointy limbs on your chest move, how natural it feels, like you're moving them yourself.

You also remember part of the thought and images that went into creating your body. How it is strong and agile like hers and most importantly adaptable, with room to grow and evolve.

For now she is content to watch you while she feeds.

Sure you can, just have to be a bit careful not to get stuck somewhere, try to look before you jump, that sort of thing. There's a lot of debris and loose cables floating in there but since the ship is unmoving and unpowered they also are unmoving and unpowered. Plowing through them with a high speed vehicle did cause a bit of a disturbance but it should have settled down by now.

"I've been waiting for a good chance to use my new toys. We need a solid plan though."
Load a chaos bolt into the crossbow. Begin planning the attack. Draw a crude map with arrows in the dirt.

Theri should take a small team and flank around behind the targets.
Nikolai and Lune will set up the crossbow somewhere with a good vantage point.
The water mage should lead most of the recruits.
Give some competent seeming recruit a signaler and have them separate from the main group. When enough time has passed for everyone to be ready they light up the sky.
Nikolai will tsar the crossbow and use it to take out any artillery or the largest grouping of beastmen if there is no artillery. Then find a new position, reload and prepare for a second shot.
Then everyone else should charge in and mop up.
Theri's group should assassinate any particularly troublesome targets from behind while they are distracted by the explosion and main force.

Nikolai will use his spare signaller like a rocket launcher for counter-artillery if that's necessary and the crossbow is being reloaded.
He will also tsar his water armour as a last ditch reaction against being shot at.

"How does this plan look?" Nik asks, mainly to Theri and the water mage (whos name he should also find out).

♚The Doll Prince: Searching for Treasure.♚

"Wait, before you go, take this with you," Napoleon said before tossing Jack a two inch doll he summoned. The gown the porcelain doll wore matched the colors of the King of Card Games' outfit. "Keep that with you so that I can find you and come to your aid if needed."

After Jack left, Napoleon turned to peer around the casino, noting the positions of everyone, including the security personnel. He then walked north toward the areas that possibly belonged to the staff. After all, keeping any of the casino's valuables out of reach of the customers is to be expected in order to keep them safe. If anything, he could find clues as to the safe's location and its combination. Grabbing a chair nearby, Napoleon sat down at an empty table and watched the other patrons chat among themselves. Assuming a bored expression, Napoleon will:

Discreetly summon several two inch dolls. After modifying them into becoming transparent, Napoleon will use them to scout out the main floor of the casino.  He will use them to locate any guards and security cameras, as well as any exits that he and Jack can use. He will also use them to scout out the staff rooms for clues about the safe. As a final note, he will use the doll he gave to Jack to listen in on any conversation, just to check up on him of course.
