entertain the children with silly antics and ridiculous objects like a beer bottle stuffed animal thingy or some potatoes.
You summon a couple of socks and use them as improvised sock puppets. Your sketches revolve around the adventures of the incredibly handsome, intelligent and courageous Doctor Alan von Awesome and his bumbling boobish assistant Mrs. Grouchy Unfun. Most sketches are about Mrs. Grouchy complaining about something that Alan did, having a problem, or creating one and Doctor Alan resolving the situation via (nonsensical) inspirational singing, (nonsensical) words of advice and liberal throwing of random objects. (It's easy when you can just summon them. It's hard when they're heavy and may crush your other hand.) Overall, it's as Alanist as it gets.
You particularly liked the one where Doctor Alan used a giant hamster wheel to escape certain doom. You should try that sometime. Sounds like a good idea.
Campaign, Ike!
Continue creeping, commence killing when close.
You keep creeping.
Do you want to risk getting closer to risk a stealth kill with one of the soldiers?
Or is your primary focus sneak-attacking the wizard?

((I am awed and to be Irine's friendbuddyfriend! ...I'll be posting later due to fatigue and catching up, and writing PMs!
I do not know that song anyway--so it's totally new to me no matter what. Even thought of a more classical/slower tune than the upbeat lyrics posted there.))
((Don't worry. I've also not been making as many turns as I'd like. I wish you the best.))
((I'm very grateful and thankful for this. Thank you ))
"That was a creative answer." Theri watched Irine until she finished. Her thoughts dwelled on the meaning in between the lines of her pensive song. It felt like an hour before she looked at the General's wife for her reaction.
"And if it wasn't obvious, I think it's beautiful. Your voice is very nice."
Hug Irine; quickly assess the rest around me.
You lie down besides Irine and give her a big hug.
As for the people around you...
Zechariah seems to be lost in introspection, as always.
Alan is making an entertaining sock puppet show. Its plot (and morals and almost everything else about it) doesn't make much sense, but it does its job of keeping the children distracted and entertained. The funny voices, constant movements and colourful characters probably help with that.
The general's wife is also watching the show with her children, but appears a bit more... You aren't sure. Cautious? Distracted? Nervous? At least she looks calmer than before.
And Irine... You aren't sure. You know she is probably strong and resilient enough to not break down, but she's also not in the best of states. She's been through a lot and now there's more uncertainty, more chances for unhappiness and for things to go wrong. She's probably not that well. Maybe all she needs is for you to be there. Like family. Like an older sister.
Hmm. Maybe that's not such a bad comparison, at last visually. You do look alike and yet you're more physically capable than she is.
"I'm not dying here, no way."
Do my best to ignore the ice and blood. Overhead tsar slash at the scout, use my reach advantage.
If anyone gets close enough to attack me I will thicken my armour, repair it, improve it, hopefully get rid of the ice problem somehow, and defend myself.
Your slash is perfect but you completely mess up your timing. Your sword ends up getting tsared while inside the ground, which means it doesn't hit anything. The scout tries to take advantage of this to kick the sword out of your hand, but you manage to deflate it and thus put it out of his reach before his strike connects.
Two more scouts arrive, but they too keep their distance. Either they're waiting for more of them to arrive, waiting for you to try to run or waiting for you to bleed out. Or they're simply waiting for you to make the first move or a mistake. Whatever they're waiting for, you bet it's not good.
Alright. I'll edit it in this post in a minute.
Edit: Have a character sheet because I like character sheets.
Name: Hannah
Ability: Drawing on a magical drawing pad, which causes things drawn to be real. Also likes knives.
Appearance: Short (~5' 2") 14 year old girl, with dark brown hair coming down to slightly past her shoulders. She occasionaly wears makeup, but prefers not to. She has a great smile.
Bio/Personality info: Preffers to wear leggings or jeans and sweatshirts, but refuses to wear a dress by choice. Is very good at drawing, helping with her power, although occasionaly needs to stop, or she might start drawing nightmares into existence. Lost her dad recently, and never knew her brother. Has a boyfriend she has worried about since she was brought here, and hopes he's okay. Loves darker, cooler colors, and is annoyed by bright, warm colors.
Liking knives? OK. You now have a +2 to liking knives. No knife will be unlikable for you. If anyone tries to make you dislike knives, they'll have a very hard time doing that.
What would you say is most important to you? Pick a word that you think describes what you want from your ability. Quick? Powerful? Durable? Versatile? Far-reaching? Flying? Candy? Zombie? Piñata? Something else?
Or list several words in order of importance. Whatever you like. I just need input to solve a dilemma, almost any input would do.
OOCIn other news, hard work pays off. I finally got my contract signed. I am now officially a Junior Software Engineer (which basically means being a Senior's
bitch assistant and doing whatever work they tell me to do)... At lest for the next six months. But better than working almost for free without a contract. And it's much better than other people my age get in this country. And it's my first step to getting out of here and living in a nice, civilized place, where there is near constant winter and several months of near constant darkness.
And things seem to be getting better with the people in my life.
So, overall, tired and a bit nervous about the future, but happy. After fighting the bureaucracy for a few days, I should be able to start posting more regularly and start a new mission. Assuming horrible things don't happen again.
