"I think we would have a more efficient and less catastrophic mission if you would curb your pyromania." Jordan coughs and then adjusts his hood a bit. "Now, apparently the fatman and John are in trouble, and they have an important mission objective. Care to accompany me to retrieve it, or would you rather continue to set fire to the surroundings?"
Wait for her response.
To Jordan and Zech: <You dumbass! When I said to tell me BEFORE you came in here, I was serious. I nearly killed you when I heard you come in. As for helping our wayward allies, I would come if that line of fire over there wasn't the only thing between us and a small army. I have to stay and guard the device.>
turn back to face the threatened elevator shaft and send a single orb out through the wall of flames to burn through the ropes the soldiers about to be sent down are being lowered by.

"We can all insult each other's mission profiles later. Just forget what happened and continue. Jordan, just let me collapse this ceiling and I'll follow."

Continue with previous action of collapsing the ceiling and provide a guard for Jordan as we go help the other two.

This is what Zechariah had signed up for, after all. It was in his (archetypal) title: the Guardian. So he was guarding, guarding everyone, and preventing everyone from killing each other for five minutes.

"A small army? Jesus, what the hell are you guys doing to attract that heat? Let's get that ceiling collapsed and get the hell out of dodge."
Head to the others when Zech collapses the ceiling.

To Jordan and Zech: <How do you even function with that kind of memory loss? Remember what happened upstairs? They do.>
If the ceiling collapse goes well, then go with Jordan and Zech to help our summoners.

To Jordan and Zech: <I'm not Angel. Why are you so quick to cast blame by the way? You're rather desperate to draw attention away from yourself. Both now and last time we spoke, every word out of your mouth has been putting blame on others. What are you trying to hide?>

"Hey! Listen!" Ike tries to say between slaps. This reminded him altogether too much of his first wife, in both a metaphorical and literal sense.

Try to look non-crazy and non-threatening. Should Eria get off him, follow where Jordan went.

Zechariah motions upward with his staff, pulling a bit of Irine's own shadow and tapping her on the leg with it.
Interface, Irine & Jordan: <I am asking you with all of my heart to please drop it. Lives are at stake here. I don't want us to fall apart so close to the end.>

Interface, Drake: <Noted. Thank you.>
Interface, Irine: <Drake says he has no view on us and can't control the fire extinguishers on this level.>

"Come on, I know I've been beaten up this level but I can't have lost THAT much willpower!"

Try one last time to collapse the ceiling. If it fails once more, run while attempting to shield Irine and myself using a crystal shield.

((Please try to put all your actions in a single post and strikethrough your old actions, just for convenience’s sake. It's harder to understand your actions when I'm reading through lots of posts and I'm afraid I might miss or misinterpret something.
In other news, I just noticed I've been misspelling Zechariah as Zachariah sine the start of the game.))

Zechariah focuses on his powers, giving all he's got. He takes the light from Irene's wall of fire and creates tendrils of light with pointy ends that illuminate the smoke around them and stab the concrete ceiling. The tendrils writhe as the embed themselves deeper into the concrete, causing cracks to appear and medium sized pieces to come crashing down. The ceiling is strong however, built to bear the weight of an entire building over it. Collapsing it will take another minute of effort.

Meanwhile, Irene bolsters her flames and creates a large sphere of fire that she sends forward to ruin the day of anyone trying to descend the elevator shaft. It turns out her action was justified, as soon after she looses sight of the sphere, she can hear screams cut short and splashes inside the elevator shaft. Neither she nor anyone else hear anything else, besides the crackling of fire and pieces of the ceiling collapsing. Looks like they're safe for now.

Jordan starts making his way to John and Alan. He's not getting there yet.

It's getting harder to breath and see with all that smoke. Thankfully, the ventilation systems are still working and taking care of some of the smoke.

Only the ceiling near the elevator shaft has been affected by the collapse. You should be safe, as long as Zechariah doesn't do anything stupid.

"Hey! Listen!" Ike tries to say between slaps. This reminded him altogether too much of his first wife, in both a metaphorical and literal sense.

Try to look non-crazy and non-threatening. Should Eria get off him, follow where Jordan went.
Quote from: scapheap: autoaction
Keep slapping Ike for a while as punishment for messing with space magic and making me risk my life to save his ass.
Get up and stop slapping Ike.
The slapping spree is over. You are left near the glowing crater and the white pedestal the cube is floating above. The cube keeps pulsing with red light and infrasonic noise.
I'm assuming you want to return to the hallway Irene and the gang are in? Or do you want to look around for more space magic and hope you get better results than the cube? Or maybe you want to try messing with the cube again?

Huh? Okay?

Take that green vial of John's and summon a gigantic hamster wheel for us to roll away in. Drag his body in and roll away!
Failing that, slap him to wake him up. If not, drag him away with me, abandoning him if the flesh is getting too close.

((Damn.))

Wake up!  Go out!
No waking up for John.

Alan retrieves the vial from John, summons a wheel large enough for him and John to fit in (who keeps a large wheel in his house?), drags John on the wheel and then starts pushing the wheel forward.
A problem immediately becomes apparent with his idea. Unconscious people aren't the best riding companions when you're running in a wheel. John's unmoving body makes turning the wheel much harder. When they gain enough speed, centrifugal force makes John stick to the inside of the wheel and become an obstacle for Alan.
Alan trips on the unconscious John when the wheel is about halfway through the room. He falls causing the wheel to go off balance and fall to one side. John's limp body handles the high speed impact to the concrete floor extremely well, twisting and absorbing the energy of the fall, leaving him fine except for some bruises.
Alan is not so lucky. His ribs are cracked, his lungs are pierced. He blacks out from the pain and blood loss.
"No, come on man, get up. Can't have it all end now. I have a lot-" is the last thing Alan hears before he looses consciousness.
Desynchronization imminent.
Spoiler: Rolls To Death (click to show/hide)

"B-but...someone else died because I messed up..." Angel is stricken with acute sadness.
"Oh. Please, don't be sad. You did OK. You can't win in all the games." the entity tries to cheer you up. "I remember when I died once. It wasn't fun... Tasted like earth and chicken." He pauses for a while. "But I got better! See? We don't have to talk about bad stuff now. Everything gets better! You'll do better next time, you'll see!"
