((To make things clearer:
John(Toaster) is in the large hallway right outside the elevator and has just built a heavy machine gun of questionable quality that will probably fire, but is certainly more likely to jam and misfire than a heavy machine gun of pristine condition.
Alan(Xantalos) is in the large hallway right outside the elevator and playing with his tiny things.
Jordan(Fniff) is near the elevator's control panel and has just used the palm he cut off the officer to open the elevator's doors.
Angel(GreatWyrmGold) is currently unconscious, slowly regenerating and being carried by Zach.
Zach(DarkArtemisFowl) is currently in some offices connected to the hallway Angel was in, is carrying Angel and is very close to collapsing from exhaustion.
Eria(Scapheap) is in the other side of the same offices Zach is in.
Irene(Lenglon) is currently in the aforementioned hallway, using her powers to make a firewall. There is also a crystal wall Zach is sustaining (it is one of the causes of his exhaustion) that is blocking the bullets of a group of guards that has arrived from the stairwell behind the firewall.
Ike(Harry Baldman) is currently at the end of said hallway, looking at it from the guard's side, sitting far away from the action and giving exactly zero fucks about both the fire and the firefight, a stance some entities are certain to appreciate.))

"Bah, good enough."
Inspect the thing to tell if it'll even fire at all.  Man it and guard the elevator door.
It'll fire, but you can't tell how long until it jams or falls apart. It's not exactly in the best condition.
You set up your HMG on top of the battlements of fort Cookington and get ready for its heroic defense. By which I mean you place your poorly maintained gun on a pile of cookware and boxes and prepare to delay an unstoppable onslaught of Red Army troops.
Let's hope your teammates get back soon...
Summon larger megaphone.
Nope, nothing, random.org still hates you apparently. Or maybe the pyromaniacs are stealing all your luck, since they seem to be constantly evading death.
"Picking up the slack..."
Cover them if/when they run towards us. Don't step out of the elevator, though.
You sit near the elevator's doors and wait for your teammates to either return or die horribly. Either will do, you just want to get on with your job.

Screw firefights, I want to get this done. Go east.
You arrive at the elevator. There's John there with a barely intact heavy machine gun sitting on some boxes that have been armored with cookware, there's Alan playing with his little things and there's Jordan who's waiting near the elevator.
"We're just waiting for your teammates to finish whatever it is they're doing and then we'll go down the elevator."

Keep healing. Wake up, or at least don't drip too much flesh juice on Zach.
Still healing, still unconscious, still staining your teammates' clothes with blood and other bodily goo.
By the way, ever smelt burning hair or flesh? Cause I can tell you, the smell is awful. Yet another thing your teammates have to deal with while carrying you.
Also, you've lost part of your brown shirt when it caught fire. You might want to borrow one of your teammate's coats when you wake up.
His leg was searing in pain. His back was pressured by someone else. His mind ached from the effort of the crystal wall. His everything hurt, basically.
But he felt fulfilled. He's doing his job. But he's not done yet.
"Come on, come on! Drop the fire, we got to get to the elevator! Let's go!"
Get around the corner and get to the elevator as fast as possible. Urge Irene to come with us, and if she does, drop the crystal wall.
Find Irene
Interface:Where are you? Beside lot of fire?
Run for the elevator.
Irene starts running towards the elevator. As she leaves, she can see Zach's crystal wall collapsing under the strain of the incoming bullets and her flames weakening from the guard's firefighting efforts. That firewall isn't going to stay up for long. She makes it to the offices and meets up with the rest of the gang.
Zach continues moving forward, carrying Angel, but his body can take no more. Even with the wall down the stress is too much. He limps towards the door leading to the main hallway, very slowly. Thankfully, Eria arrives just in time to help him with the weight, before he collapses from the strain.
"So many 'just in time' arrivals and last second escapes. One would think this is a TV show or something. 'Tune in next time to find out if our heroes escape certain death!' "

((I try to go with the assumption that you are reasonable individuals and fill any gaps in your actions (or lack of action, unless you're not facing an unimportant and/or obvious choice) with that. Which is necessary now, because we have people moving and people fighting and if I did everything in battle time, asking for input every turn, you'd take 2-6 turns just going from one place to another.))

((The current turn covers less time then usual since our escapees might want to do something differently.
Currently, Eria(scapeheap) and Zach(DAF) are carrying the unconscious Angel(GWG) towards the Elevator with Irene(Lenglon) running with them in her three tailed fox form. They're about 1/4 of their way through some offices (cubicles along with larger offices created by plastic dividers with small windows, desks, computers, that sort of thing).))

The pain was seriously starting to mess with him. He was pushing his body over the limit, even if his willpower was outstanding. He let go of the crystal wall to conserve some energy. He was straining under the pressure and saw black spots in his vision, not to mention that his hearing was failing him also. He did, however, hear the entity's last remark.
"SHUT IT, YOU DAMN DEMON!"
You know, for a guy whose powers depended almost completely on his willpower, you'd think that he'd have reached some sort of barrier in his willpower right about now.
That wasn't the case though. He flared on, driven by commitment to those around him, hatred for those above him, and fear of those below him.

Ladies and gentlemen, the most complicated boy in the world multiverse.
Continue with the help of Eria. Concentrate using my complex whirlpool of emotions.

Quietly hang on to the ceiling. If there's some safe-looking way to stand on top of the elevator, do that. Make no suspicious noises.

Flame generation charge 4: ignite some paperwork/inbox/printer paper, and keep the flames leaping from paper to paper behind the slow-moving trio for very rapid growth. then use it to form another firewall behind us. gather a several (preferably five) one-foot diameter spare spheres of flame to bring with me as we run in case I have to do this again. physically, I'm going to keep traveling with the trio, moving rapidly in short spurts to keep up then turning around to manage the flames. If I have to choose between flame management and keeping up, I'm going to keep up.

"Do we have to wait for them?  This thing won't last forever."
