Alright, depending on whoever gets there first--hold the place down, or stay in an adjacent building until you see any sign of me. That's what I'd do anyways--our callsign is a thumbs-up, and anyone else not doing it is..well, not us.
Good work on the formality.
Doc, if need be, I'd really advise you to try to improvise any reaching tools or things to defend yourself. I've had experience in seeing these...things. They aren't pretty.

Amelia hefted the shield-spear and balanced its weight accordingly. It would work as a great dual-weapon, but she needed something if in case her assumptions about the anatomy and physiology, as well as basic senses of those things were as right as she knew em.

Probably need a distraction. If they can't see me, perhaps they can hear me. T'would be weird if they can do any of those anyway, but..ugh, stupid cranial nerves.

At least the curtain sheets make great blankets. And there are flower designs on them too. Pretty clean.

Collect a few rocks for later use.
Lock all other doors except the one I'm exiting and perhaps wrap a curtain sheet around my spear for portability-I may use it later.

Begin exploring the outside, starting with the nearest house-check if there are any walls I can hide behind while making my way towards the radio tower - if needed, create a distraction by using rocks + windows opposite my position examine surroundings.

Hmm. Another shelter might mean more survivors. That's where they would be headed, I imagine. That one may be stocked as well.

Head around the office tower and make my way to that other shelter (I don't want to get between the office tower and the town, so I'm taking the long way around) keeping my eyes and ears open. Reflect upon what I saw last time I was in the town, and wonder if I'll see more of that in the office tower.

"Sure I guess if you want, I'm going into town I lost all my gear and my bow in camp when everything went to hell so I need to replace it.

" Not that'll be any good, no materials for a good string or tools to fashion it properly so I'll stick with my hands and feet until I can find a proper one."

Well, I happen to have a lot of string I found in another shelter to the North. Want some?

" Normal string won't work, it'd snap. Besides I'm no good at building stuff."

"I've been to that city on holidays. There is a couple of sporting good stores in the western part, that'd be the place to go if you're looking for a bow. They're not near the town's border, so I suggest we first stop by that gas station to our south. With a bit of luck, we'll find some gas bottle there for molotov cocktails, they'll help us. "

Good. Let me grab a weapon and let's head into town.

Smash a bench and grab a stick. Then try to craft some nunchuks from it, lace my shoes, grab my trusty can of SPAM and goes to that gas station down south with Harvey.
