My DM who told me that I should've killed Xantalos right away said that he thought one of us was a rogue trader, which I don't know is possible...?

'S unusual for Dark Heresy, but not unheard of.

On a side note, in my Deathwatch campaign, our party flattened a Daemon Prince.

When I first attempted to GM a game of this, when I had no idea of what I was doing, I put the players on a wretchedly damaged ship under boarding by the Tau. I also had the stats for Furies handy, in case I got bored.

Might as well chalk it up to Pathos.
As this point we might as well invoke interpretive dance and call it a day.

Hm. I'm just gonna roll a 1d10 to determine how lethal I should make this campaign.

...Well then.

Emperor save you.

Unrelated: Anyone got an idea for the stats of a Volcano Cannon? 'S for Deathwatch.

And some Harbinger Drones.

The first one got taken out in a single turn because the shotty-wielder had managed to succeed on a stealth check to approach, and then a crit.

Still, you'd think there'd be more than 6 or 7 alien species in the entire galaxy.
Miniatures are expensive to make. There's Abhumans (if they count), Eldar (as a whole), Orks, Daemons, Necrons, Tyranids, Tau, Kroot, Vespid, Enoulians, Enslavers, Simulacra, Slaugth, Rak’Gol, Sslyth, Stryxis, Yu’Vath, Species x-10198.rk, Lacrymoles, and Loxatl.

Every race I named has stats somewhere.

There are also several other named species, and others that have been described, that only exist in print. I believe the hrud are an example of those.
