Eheheheheheh.

No, not an army of clones(I don't think you can multiple copies of a droid's mental characteristics, though I could be wrong), althoughh technically the player should have control of them since he knows what his character would do(so long as said player actually did what they would do; E4-T1 for example, would all try to kill each other).

Actually, the best part is, RAM, droids can rewrite our own talents, feats, skills, and I think possibly levels. So not only can you get a combat droid body, you can get all the goodies to make it work!

In any case, #StarWarsShonus is open again.  The normal mibbit client seems to be down, so you might have to use a different client, then join the mibbit server manually.

And once more!  Join the chat if you feel like it.  Last one before the game.

Can I get a link or something to the new vehicle rules?

In addition, what are rules on designing new droid types?(as NPCs) Will/would I be able to get rid of behavioral inhibitors on droids? Would I be able to create effectively custom droid degrees? How heavy are locomotive appendages?

Droid degrees are basically races, so a new degree of droid would be like a new race, which are notriously difficult to balance...

The behavioural inhibits don't seem to have many details, and computer use doesn't seem to address them. One would assume that they are part of the factory default, so memory removal wouldn't help. The only obvious way around it is getting creative with your interpretations. Changing the definition of sentient, concluding that all sentient life will die given time, and that it may accrue additional harm over time until it dies, causing death now would result in less total harm than allowing it to die later... Change the definition of life, perhaps all life flows from the force, so only those with a voluntary control over the force are actually in possession of a life, while all others simply coexist with one...

Could you throw up the IRC server and game server? I think that using the IRC to coordinate would be a good idea.

Yessir.

Maptools game is ShonusWars.  I think.  Something like that.

IRC server is mibbit and the chat is #StarWarsShonus as usual.

I'm going to try working through Lucius. If that works ok, we won't need Hamachi (which is only needed because of my router not allowing me to host.)

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Haven't typed anything into this log for a few days.  Haven't been able to.  Too much on my mind.

Alderaan has been destroyed.  I wouldn't have believed it was possible if I hadn't seen if with my own eyes; the dust and rock that had once been a beautiful, peaceful planet were all that remained when we arrived.  There goes my money.  There goes my employers.  There goes a billion other decent souls who'd been loyal citizens of the Empire, whatever shit that buckethead might've spewed about traitors.

So, where does that leave me?  I served the Empire loyally.  I was one of their best damned pilots.  I fought against rebels and pilots alongside some of the best men and women I've ever met.  And now they go and blow up a planet and all its people, and its soldiers threaten me.  Sure, the groundies were always assholes.  But this was approved by someone high up.  Maybe an an admiral.  Maybe the Emperor himself.  Either way, it says something.

I served with good men.  But the Empire's gone too far this time.  Maybe people will be afraid, but I think more will be up in arms and ready to fight back.  Much as I hate those terrorist sons-of-bitches in the rebellion, I can't say I blame them.  Seems they were right, mostly.  And even if most of those in the service now are good men, the system itself needs fixing.  Type of fixing only a decent blaster can bring.

As for me?  Here I am on Abregado-Rae.  Serenity's got her cargo bay packed full of computational electronics, and we've a couple small crates of thermals tucked away.  As for me, I've got [EXPUNGED] to provide what I need, a list of names and jobs that'll open soon enough, my wings in the sky and my team at my side.  It's enough.

Edit:  In other news, we currently have 750,000 credits.  Personally, I propose we spend 420000 credits on computer parts, 40000 credits on thermal detonators, tuck 48000 credits in the bank for a rainy day (like, maybe 36000 of that in a literal bank under the company name, and keep the other 12000 locked and safe in the ship), split 12000 amongst the crew (so, we'll say 1000 for each person, assuming a 12 member crew including the fighter pilots and not including the droid, which is company property), and use the remaining 230000 for improving our ships.

Edit2:  Also, given the value of the durasteel plates and comparing them to the cost of upgrading Serenity's armor, it might be a better idea just to sell the plates and use the credits for something else.

Not really enjoying playing a game where all the decisions are made over private messages...

I was not aware we were playing today; Shonus never posted it and it wasn't in the OP. I can probably show up next week, but I honestly have no idea what's going on.
