I think he didn't notice. Perhaps it'd be good if Gnorm, as an organisator, informed him.

Blenheim hasn't been active for almost a month. If someone is still interested, he can take a turn here.

And we were this close to yet another victim of Gnorm, the Overseer Killer.

If nobody objects I give a push to this. Just let me find the save... aha, found it.
EDIT: Download is in progress, but will take a while, don't know why.
EDIT2: Downloaded. Let me take a look...

Notes of Doctor Wrench, Machine Caretaker
*Scetches of bridge smasher* - This will take the husks out! For sure!

Other news - outsideis infested with husks who seem to fight with each other. I saw a merchant's camel, broken and twisted with guts popped out, but still burdened with bag of rope seeds.
Also mountainhole liaison hides in the hills to the west. I hope she knows what she does, 'cause can't think of reason to stay there.

Good side that we have a lot of food anf drinks, a great dining hall and some bedrooms to take a nap between parties and work.
There's a corpse of salt forgotten beast at our stair, and another toady one is swimming at the cave lake, with his tail stinger gone and left legs broken.
Ok, not so bad as it could be. I ned to get back to Smasher, that's the only way to get rid of husks, I think.

Is there a dorf to be had in this dark, dank, murderous fort?  Perhaps one of those spinners who seem completely useless...

Okay, here's your dorf

Notes of Doctor Wrench, Machine Caretaker
Some potter became posessed and made diorite earring. Quite valuable.
Miners dug down to magma sea and found amamantine vein there. We moved forges down there - who needs charcoal when there's magma?!
Smasher is almost done. Soon we will test it!
Mayor got his quarters, office and diniing room, and had his mandate on short swords fulfilled. Hope he'll finally stop complaining. Oh, now he forbids the export of armor stands - ok, ok, calm down, have you seen what happened with traders? They won't export anything!

Oh, I was wrong. Elven caravan arrived.
Horse husks are trying to strangle each other's throats. Have no idea how they do that and why, but I think elves distract them from that useless thing.
Oh, and goblin ambush appeared to save elves from husks following them. So cute.

THe smasher works! We've crushed four husks so far - they seem to be very busy with fighting each other to notice that there's new passage into the fortress... Need to think how to get them inside...

Think.. think... think..

Doctor Wrench has been posessed!
Doctor Wrench has claimed Mechanic's shop!
Doctor Wrench begins mysterical construction!
Doctor Wrench has created  Serpentphrase the Godly Appearance, a diorite mechanism. It's decorated with opals, diorite, cave spider silk, rock salt and pigtail fiber.
On the item is an image of human killing the dingo man. Also on the item is an image of quarry bushes.

And what now?

Obviously you must plant quarry bushes to lure the husks in, and then smash them with a smasher that includes said mechanism.

I cannot guarantee the truthiness or usefulness of this post.

The Plains Titan Slonu Rosptusm Tuxumobruk Slospo has come!  A great serpent composed of horn silver.  It has large mandibles and it moves about carelessly.  Beware its webs!
Well, we locked down and cut the stairs in. Titan fights with husks, and husks fight him and each other. Web seems useless against them, so finally horse husk landed a hit into the head.

Other news:
Cerol Oltarzeg, Stray Kitten (Tame) has adopted `Shadowhammer' Eturishen, Blacksmith.

EDIT:
A gremlin!  Drive it away!

Hey, kill the bastard!

The Lye Maker bends The Gremlin's left hand with The Lye Maker's left lower arm, shattering the left wrist's bone!
The Lye Maker throws The Gremlin by the left hand with The Lye Maker's left lower arm!

Oh, our lye makers can defend themselves... But wait!

The Gremlin slams into the Farmer!
The Gremlin slams into the Beekeeper!
The Gremlin slams into the Beekeeper!
The Gremlin slams into the Hunter!
The Gremlin slams into the Hunter!
The Hunter slams into the Miner!
The Gremlin slams into the Blue Peahen!
The Gremlin slams into the Miner!
The Hunter slams into the Glazer!
The Hunter slams into the Miner!
The Hunter slams into the Magma Miner!

Hey! Stop that! Oh, crap..

The Metalcrafter is caught in a pool of magma!
`Firecrazy' Rakustlemis, Magma Miner cancels Dig: Dangerous terrain.
The Hunter's head takes the full force of the impact, bruising the muscle and tearing the upper spine's nervous tissue through the x(elk bird leather hood)x!

So, basicaly, the gremlin was thrown into stairwell and we had a !!STRIKE!! with a group of miners and other dvarves who went up. And the stairwell led directly into magma sea. I hate gremlins!
