Yeah, I'm going to raise the point of defending our followers again.  Permanent defenses are more worthwhile than expending energy repeatedly on a numerous and powerful foe, I do feel we should heal our followers at this point though.  As to questioning Sjamn'd, I think we need a solid idea regarding what our people need most beyond immediate protection. And as far as I'm concerned refusing to respond to the hostile presence sounds good.

Bring forth fruit bearing trees from the swamp to feed our people.

Heal them
We need faithful to survive - they are our best bet. Feel free to tell the shaman about the nature of the illness - he will know best if our people need to know that much. We don't want them to feel too fearful of our enemy...

Conceding to Omega's point, make a "Scan" of the surrounding area
Lets rule out an immediate attack/ambush, get those guys going, and then decide on long-term plans.

Respect your Elders! Do however refuse his offer of devouration - politely.
Humoring him sounds better than seething with rage and hot on our heels.

I'd go for

heal
However, in the long run I would think walls are a good idea. they'll keep out the followers if not the god.

I don't know, from what we know the other god could be anything, but he sounds vampiric so a leech or a vampire-bat would be a possibility, but for all we know he could be a giant 4-year old with 22 eyes and a mouth to suck gods at his hand.

That seems to be the general consensus. So I'll be going with that. As usual, you can expect the post to be up sometime in the next twenty to forty minutes.

Also, on another note, I think I'll change the system around. So two turns is roughly a day. That seems like it would work better than whatever system I was using before. At least for now anyways, when we move onto a bigger phase in the game, you can expect a turn to take up more and more time.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You choose to rather politely decline the other god's offer. "Yes, yes, They do seem to have brought me into existence haven't they? I do happen to be rather fond of those 'wiggly, squiggly, scaly ones' as you put it. I'm sure you must be busy with attending to your own followers, I'm afraid that I will be taking my leave now. I'm sure that one as busy as you must be can and will undestand!"

With that said, You beat a hasty retreat, returning your attention to the sick and ill laying at your feet. You drawn your energy outwards, that bubbling pool of power slowly trickling from within you as you shift it into your avatar. The Ankylosaurus starting to crackle and hum, little sparks of a eerie earthy green color dancing along it's hide. It leans over and brushes it's snout lightly against each of your followers, the sparks dancing along their skins and burrowing into their body. They give out shouts of shock and a few small cries of pain, their bodies spasming and twitching as the godly energy flows through them. Feeling yourself weakening from the use of your energy. In seconds it's done. At the feet of your avatar lay eleven, perfectly healthy lizardfolk. They rise and stand without the assistance of others for the first time in days, a small, ragged cheer breaking out among lizardfolk in the camp. Watching them cheer makes you feel a odd sense of...pride?
-7 energy

Next, you search through the swamp till you find a fruit bearing tree near your camp. You focus on it for a moment, extending a tendril and brushing it against the plant, focusing your energies into the tree and shifting the nature of the fruit it bears. It happens slowly, but steadily, the fruit on the tree begins to grow, getting thicker and larger, dozens of seeds forming within it. In moments the tree has nearly two dozen of the oddly shape fruits grown across it. You send a brief thought to Sjamn'd, informing him of the fruit the tree bears and to send followers to collect it.
-5 energy

Earlier, you had gotten a better view of the surrounding landscape around your camp, but it was nothing more than a general glimpse of the terrain on a massive scale that spanned miles. You feel as though it might be better to have a more detailed view of your current surroundings.  With that in mind, you raise yourself far above the camp and sent out a small pulse of energy. Several seconds later the pulse returns, giving you a rather good idea of the surrounding area's around your camp. Your people are situated in the only clearing in the swamp for several miles, the ground was slightly raised and the area surrounding the camp was surrounded by several feet deep, murky water. Your followers had lived in this terrain all their lives, it wouldn't impede them any. Plant-life is rather common throughout your area of the swamp though you feel that very little animal life remains. You sense that there are more animals deeper south in the swamps. Though, you couldn't sense it before, now that you are looking more closely, you can sense faint, very faint touches of chaos throughout the lands around here. It's not strong enough to begin twisting the plants and animals here yet, but, given time it will be. All the chaotic taints seem to originate from a point four miles to the east.

You consider the possibilities for quite a while before narrowing down two other potential camp sites, beyond the one your currently at that it. The first, lays far, far to the south. In the very depths of the swamp. It would take several days worth of travel to reach there, but the location looks to be very defensible. Thick, copses of trees lay grouped together, the ground itself appears to be a thigh deep of mush and muddy ground. Animal life in that area is quite numerous, though the clearing there is rather small. Your people wouldn't have much room to expand without chopping down and clearing away the swampland around them.

The second choice, actually lays towards the north. Closer towards the chaos infested northern lands, it looks like the old ruins of an ancient town. Though most of the city is in various states of disrepair, it does have a rather large wall surrounding the city. The wall has fallen into disrepair, but you feel as if it would take very little energy to restore it to it's former state. The town itself lays in utter ruins, rocky, partially destroyed and fallen building lay scattered about, though with a little work they could be repaired and make fit for living. Plant-life is somewhat common around the area and the animal-life you sense contains faint traces of chaotic energies, you don't know how it would affect your followers if they tried to eat it.

To your utter surprise, about two dozen miles north of your encampment, you sense seven lizardfolk. Shifting your attention over to them, You gaze over them. Their garments are mostly ruined and torn, but what catches your attention is the armour they wear. It bears obvious signs of wear and battle scarring upon it, but it bears a resemblance to the clothing of the Sud'kar tribe.  The female in lead of the small group, pauses, scowling as she cries out, drawing her blade and slipping the twisted, oaken shield from her back. Her companions do the same, with a jolt you sense nearly three dozen chaos twisted lifeforms rushing towards the small group. They meet with a clash, the chaos twisted beasts look like they might have once been wolves or dogs. Though now their fur is a misshapen mess of twisted, burning flesh and thick, living scales. Mouths and teeth jutting out randomly along their bodies and roving along their skin.

The female in lead lets out another cry and the lizardfolk group up and form a circle, their shields and blades dancing and cutting throughout the beasts. In moments three of the chaos-dogs lay dead on the floor, they certainly look like they were warriors of some sort. With a cry of terror and pain, one of the lizardfolk wielding a spear is yanked out of the circle. The beasts jump onto his body, their teeth digging in and his pain shrieks echoing throughout the forest. A dozen beasts upon him and rending his flesh from his bones.

You imagine you could send your avatar to help the warriors in their fight, it wouldn't cost you any energy but you know it will take several minutes for it to reach there. There might not be any of them left alive, while those warriors are clearly skilled, they are also heavily outnumbered. You could also spend a bit of energy to do something, but you wonder what it could be.

You put off your questions for Sjamn'd right now, as you have enough issues to focus upon right now. Do you change camps? How do you react to the lizardfolk fighting the chaos dogs? Are there any other actions you feel that you should take? How do you react to the faint taint of chaos?

Those warriors are potential believers!  Rescue them NOW!  We could create quicksand (or something similar) between the chaos-beings and the lizardfolk.  The ruined city may be our best bet overall, we can easily reinforce it, and I suspect that cleansing the chaos from the immediate area, while draining, could be accomplished quickly.  The city also indicates that the area supported a large population, and available materials other than wood.

Edit: updated due to new information.

Made a slight update to the post. Apparently when I copied and pasted it over onto the web browser, it left out a small paragraph. -_-

Initiate rescue-operation
Giving the lizards elevation, adding some "stakes" - pointing at the dogs - and the mentioned quicksand are our options as I would see them. Deploy according to terrain and situation. We obviously also run there as quick as possible.

Recruit them if possible
Being truthful ought to do it in this case. Feel free to heal the critical and seriously wounded.

Make camp in the city
Mentioned infrastructure aside, the other one will have no problem finding us either way; lets gather more of those few that still stand against him - doing that in the depths of the swamp would be challenging at best. We always can retreat further if need be.

As for the taint - we might deal with it later, for now just make sure our followers don't eat anything afflicted by it.

-Send your avatar to the group, trying to rescue them.
-Use your life and earth magic to create tangling vines to grapple the enemy
-Tell the tribe to travel southway, as it is wise to choose a well defendable area.
-Infuse life energy into Sjamn'd to make him stronger and younger, telling him that he shall be middleman between his people and you
