Why you dont use some code from SS13 ?
There are a lot of things you can port from the code (Weapons,Health,Clothes).

Yes, it'd be good as a starting bit.

If you do this, I'd recommend TG health as, while BS12's is more detailed, it'd be a bit more complicated to port for starting off.

Because i like to do things my own way, besides i already have months of work of my own.
Besides, i already got my own combat system up and working, and there is already a limb based damage system that allows for stuff like broken limbs and such, very much like Cataclysm, just without infections or bleeding(yet)

Its also in a completely different scope of game. One tile in SS13 represents an object, in my game, one tile represents a whole area, so the map can be huge and span multiple cities, take 1000x1000x1000 and say each tile is a 100x100 m2 area, you get a massive map size, if i could make each Z level an island of its own, things would be fuckin' crazy. Imagine all THAT exploration to do! Thing is, unless i figure out random generation, i will have to do all those maps myself! I also want to do spatial anomalies such as Dustworld, its an area guarded by a spatial anomaly that allows anyone to enter, but no one to get out again (O: zomg!) It will have unique monsters and will generally be the place you go once you get bored of your character and want to put it to a test.

I need more coders though, i do not feel competent enough alone.
