The small area below Lithuania belongs to Russia, I genuinely forget why though but I think it has to do with them wanting to keep a hold of a major shipping area in the Baltic Sea, although I'm probably wrong.
They took it so they could have a warm-water port for basing the Baltic Fleet. Leningrad didn't really qualify due to being ice-locked part of the year, and the others available options in the Baltic states were part of separate SSRs, not Russia. Koenigsberg, being German and largely destroyed in the fighting, was a prime target for being annexed as a part of reparations, and since the USSR was busily reshaping the ethnic and political landscape of the East in either case, they just kicked out the Germans and resettled the region with Russians.
You sucked so bad at Canada. Like, none of the maritimes were right (except the Newfies) and none of the plains were right.

I didn't even remember that there was a province called New Brunswick. 
If it makes you feel better, I only remembered it because of a joke in another forum game after a botched treaty. For my part, I completely forgot that Canadian Texas is right next to Canadian California. ^_^
Did the one for Africa; mostly serious, with a couple jokes here and there. I'm...not really good at snark.
Missed Gabon, the Gambia, Ghana, Swaziland (which is totally NOT Zulu), and Tanzania (at least I remembered it was the merger of Tanganyka and Zanzibar), and misspelled Mauritania. I also got Burundi/Rwanda and Togo/Benin right, which were almost a coin flip apiece. Seriously, though, the borders are weird - it has South Sudan and Eritrea, but it also has Walvis Bay.
