Is swim skill unnecessary in a race with a natural swim speed?
It still helps with diving, endurance swimming, or swimming in particularly inclement conditions.  Creatures with swim speeds apparently all get +8 to their Swim checks and can always take 10 even when endangered automatically, so it might be worth putting just enough in to make sure you can always make a certain DC (like 20 or 25) if you have spare skill points, but other than that, I didn't think it necessary, myself.

I'll be honest here Tahu, we don't exactly need a druid as much as we need a sorcerer. And for submarine duty, you'd be much better off pulling out an aquatic swordsage/warblade instead.

Not entirely, but there are usually better uses of your skill points.

I'll try building one of those, then.

Ya, we really need an offensive long range caster. If you wanted to mesh submarine and cannon, that would be pretty awesome.

Edit: What position do you want, tahujgt.

Head Boarder, or a cooler-sounding equivalent.

Alright. I started writing the code at the top of the document. Feel free to comment. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JIpaFCLlBLMET1MKXTJT9ZUz5e5HK8eMBd3xLNqDBFs/edit

I'm going to be AFK a bit, so if somebody would be kind enough to transcribe some of the items we agreed on in the sample codes to our own in the proper sections, I would be most grateful.

What are we doing about rations? We get water for pretty much free with Purify Food and Water, but what about food?

Catch fish and seabirds, then Purify Food and Drink?

Food, I already threw into the logistics sheet. We have more than enough food for a month or more. No booze, since that costs money and we don't have the money left in the ship budget.

Rations (food and booze) are assumed under the fund to maintain and improve the ship and crew.

Are we going to have a policy for rationing, or is that up to me and the cook?

It's about a pound of food per day per person, and a gallon of water per day per person.

Though we could feed more due to actually cooking the meals and such.
