Blue Dragon, a RPG made for the X-Box, the first mulit disk X-Boc game and actually quite good.

James Bond: Nightfire
The PS2 version. The PC one sucked. But I have wonderfully nostalgic memories of that reskinned CoD 3.

Certainly less obscure than the others here, but I've been contemplating starting a Rune Factory 4 thread. Seems like it'd interest a lot of people here, but maybe not.

The first two Doom games and Doom 64. There's a Doom thread on the front page of /vr/ every day, but the people who play Doom there are pretty typical of 4chan's more infamous boards. It's a shame, /vr/ is actually very well-behaved most of the time. Doom 3 has been brought up quite a lot in the Pet Peeves thread though :P

The Harry Potter PC games actually used to be very good as well. They're cutesy 3D adventure-platformers from EA, before they turned evil. Goblet of Fire and above are crap though, stick to the first three and Quidditch World Cup.

PC version was god awful.

Found the game a couple of months ago at a thrift store.  The stealth aspect is all over the place.  In some places you can run right up to someone without being detected; in others, even slowly walking can alert several people.  There's no way to know if your gunshots are hurting anyone because there isn't an animation for it.  I once died after a cutscene but before the end of level score popped up.  I could go on...

Yeah, the PC version was bizzarely different from the version released on consoles.

It was a botched port, from what I remember reading elsewhere.

On a happier note, I'd like to say I was pleasantly surprised with Age of Mythology.

I hope Universe at War is made playable still after Games for Windows gets shut down. I like Playing as the Hierarchy with radiation-emitting Science Walkers. Huge zombie armies go!

Hm, Skullgirls got an art gallery added to it under the Extras section of it's main menu.

I played The Chamber of Secrets one, and hated it, personally. It had a nice concept, but it didn't work with me.
Now Quidditch World Cup, on the other hand, was flipping awesome.

I still play this game. It's so awesome.

I'll add one.

Warlords: Battlecry 3. So much fun in so many ways.

If I ever get to the point where I can make video games, I'm going to make a puzzle game where you have to solve a puzzle that takes a whole 10 minutes of fine tweaking and exact arrangement, and then 4 seconds before you're done, people in Trollface masks come and drag you away, beat you up and rob you, and reset the whole puzzle.

Because stuff like that makes me so freaking mad.
Also why the LEGO Star Wars games make me rage, GTFO I'M TRYING TO ASSEMBLE THIS DOOR SO I CAN WALK THROUGH IT.

Rayman.
As in, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, Rayman M (Rayman Arena in US for some goddamn reason) and Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

Everyone is bugging about Rayman Origin(s)/(League of) Legends/whatever, whereas the 3D games remain untouched.
For shame. Rayman 2 was a game of my childhood.

So were Heroes of Might and Magic 3, but I'm positive that most people around here played that. :P

And there is also the Gothic series AKA the best cRPG series I've ever played. Or at least that's the way I remember it, since 1 & 2 are not really playable nowadays.

Seems rare that threads about portable games appear, myself would love to play RF4 but i dont have the 3DS.
