The swim had been long and arduous, helped by taking shifts with Yu Shi, but few boats went to the deserted shoals that were her destination. As she finally reached them, she took a moment to relax, basking in the fading rays of the setting sun as it bathed the water in colors of amaranthine glory. She blinked, surprised for a moment, and rose as she saw something swimming towards her.
"Well, now, well, now, who are you?" she asked as she watched the fey creature dancing on the water, plainly just as curious about her as she was about it. Two tendrils from its head glowed as it reached up to her, touching her cheek gently. Plainly pleased by what it sensed, it rose up out of the water. Dancing around her and Yu Shi, it reached her other Pokeballs, tapping each one in sequence to call out her other Pokemon. Doing the same with each of them, it seemed to grow even happier, even though her Scizor Li T'ieh-kuai gave a small, half-hearted slash at it before turning away. Finally, it came to her last two Pokeballs, which were still empty, then looked up at her, waiting.
"Aren't you an odd one? You wish to be caught?" In response, it poked at the Pokeball. She looked at the reactions of her other Pokemon to the interloper, then at the newcomer itself, assessing their reactions.
"Then, little dancing one, you may come with me."
