Turn 8: Annoying Censorship

I'd like a trap roll to (portion of turn censored at the request of the mansion player.)
If the first roll for this doesn't succeed, use the second one for it as well. If the first roll DID succeed, Id like a second trap roll to (at the request of the mansion player, this portion has ALSO been censored. Also, if you are a player and reading this post in the first place, you seriously shouldn't.)

(2) The trap fails to appear.

(1) The trap still fails to appear, and the action is now locked out, beyond flavor. Also, it is tough to censor and tell you your results at the same time. Basically, what you just attempted to do you cannot do any other times, and will be autofailures if tried.. Some flavor you made with the trap still exists.

(5+5/2=5) You both quickly empty one of the shelves and immediately position it to be tipped to cover the trap door. Pushing it over successfully, the trapdoor is basically covered by it. It would be incredibly hard to push it out of the way if you were outside the trap door. You should have plenty of time to look around in detail now.

(6) Just as it happens, however, the suit of armour opens the trapdoor, staring at you both as you stand together. (1) In an attempt to push the shelf away, it loses one of its hands! The hand flops down the shelf and lands near you, unmoving like a dead insect, an unfocused eye staring into nothing. You can clearly see that there is no actual hand in the gauntlet.

get out of the kitchen and into the main hallway and advance to the next door, looking out for any dangers.

-Dining Room-
You leave your companion in the kitchen, and decide to try the other door. (1) Unfortunately, when the door proves to tough, you attempt to tug at the doorknob, but all you succeed in doing is pulling the doorknob off! The door is unlikely to be easily opened now.

Clean off as much as possible. Scan for clean clothes / useable weapons / threats.

(Coinflip) Thankfully, the sink's cold water soothes you as well as cleans your clothing, but the stains will still be in. (2-1=1) You want to look around but the cold water distracts you, as well as the pain which is coming from your face. (2) While the cold water does soothe the pain, it is quickly evident that the moment you leave the water it returns. You wish that it would at least stop some of the pain.

Pocketing what you had found, you both head back to the foyer.

-Foyer-
You both enter to see a slightly different scene then what was here before. The carpet covering the foyer had been torn greatly, and a trapdoor is opened, with someone clearly behind it. (1 vs. 3) Unfortunately for you, neither of you can see who or what is behind it. (4 vs. 1) However, whoever is behind it doesn't know your here.

Turn 9: Lightbringer

So first I'd like a trap roll for a big metal disc to hang above the well. The disc should have candles on the sides to give it the appearance of a chandelier and small metal rods pointed down on the underside. (censored), the metal rods and the disc should detach themselves so that the rods fall into the pit and disc falls to cover the pit. The rods and disc fall seperately.

If first roll unsuccessful, roll again.

If first roll succesful, a second trap roll for a carpet in the doorway to the dining room. The carpet should be at the side of the dining room. The carpet is held up but a flimsy wooden lattice, enough to bear the weight of the carpet but nothing more. Should more weight be put onto it, the lattic will break and open into a 3 meter deep pit filled with 1.5 meter long spikes. Lets make this not too big, like 1x2 meters or so. Its right infront of the door, so it should be lengthwise, to hinder just jumping over it.

(1) Yet again, your failure to do anything with the well. Your epic failure in doing anything with it has locked it out. You may now proceed to scream into the heavens about how the dice are conspiring against you.

(6) On the other side of the door, a pit is place precariously in the middle of the hallway, with long spikes hidden within. One would have get up against the wall, or make a wondrous leap, to get across. Its only disguise in a slumped carpet covering it.

(Yeah, as people have been in front of all doorways, the lattice couldn't be there in the first place. However, I found a way to allow your 6 in anyway.)

(Also, your monster is just stunned for a while, not dead)

(1-1= !0!) While your clothes were already cleaned by the water, you face begin burning as the pain increases. You begin feeling light-headed as bleeding starts to take its toll. Your surroundings start to blur as you lose focus. If you don't get your act together, you might fall unconscious!

(6) You charge through the door, breaking through all mechanisms, and plow immediately into the wall behind it.

-Hallway 2-

You fall down as your charge ends abruptly. You look to your left, and see a long corridor. A long, red carpet goes across the hallway, becomes lowered in some kind of impression, and continues onward. You can see some stairs nearby. (3) The impact of your charge, however, leaves you dazed. (-1 to next roll)

(3) You focus on other things beyond the mysterious armor, attempting to find a ranged weapon, but to no avail. (5) When your companion fires the flare gun, it does highlight an unusual outline on the wall where the shelf used to be. It appears there is some kind of secret door, or at least some kind of false wall.

(5 vs. 3) You fire your flaregun directly into the armor, and you manage to hit it straight in the “face”! (2) The armor recoils in pain, its eyes staring as the creature falls over. It is appears to fall to the ground. You can't tell its status, but it seems to be down for now.


You both remain silent as you hear footsteps above you. Its source is unknown, beyond the fact it wasn't from the thing attacking you.

(3) You approach, cueball in hand, not so subtly when suddenly a empty helmet looks above the trap door, an eye on top suddenly staring right at you! Suddenly a flash of light comes from the trapdoor, and strikes it, causing it to fall over. Your exposure to the bright light makes it tough to see afterward, however.

(4) Hiding behind your companion, the thing suddenly pops its head above the trapdoor, staring right in your direction! However, a light comes from behind the trapdoor, striking the creature and making it fall down. You manage to blink, keeping your vision safe.
