((In my defense: do you know how many times in the past I had to pm people so that they'd post? This doesn't come out of the blue, hell pw even warned people this might happen. It's just that I'm not seeing a lot of other options to still save this. And if I start to play other's characters, they might as well not be there. Either way, I'll be looking for a possible solution. Hold all of your various horses.))

Brian shook his head and starting seeing what usable material was around.  He patted his pistol to feel its reassuring weight, then starting poking around to see what he could use to reinforce the gate.

See what's around that could reinforce the gate.  Big pieces of sheet metal, bars, the like.  Start a pile near the gates.

The general idea for the rest of the game was going to be that I'd roll to get an effect every day and play them out. More then likely that junkyard of yours would be assaulted by something eventually, or reality would start to warp in ways that made hiding out there no longer safe (or at least made things less safe).  The idea was always just to keep making the world weirder and more dangerous till either the end occurred or you all died. Very simple, honestly.

I agree- interesting concept and experiment, sadly a victim of scheduling.

It is. Appear to be two:

Angel Fall: Giants of light fall from the sky, destroying massive areas of the city. Very little left.

Monoliths awaken: The monoliths open and unfold into grand alien machines. The world is sucked somewhere altogether more frightening.

I do wish this had gone on to the conclusion, even without me. Would have been interesting.

Well, it was interesting to play, even if it did get held up and shot more viciously than Uncle Ben. Glad to have been a part of it!
