Just a very minor suggestion: When the time comes...IF the time comes, when code is implemented for dwarves to avoid being dropped to their deaths by a miner channeling the block they stand on, or their own child deconstructing the floor under them, they should have little "!" "?" "!  !  !" and then they move or the job suspends, whichever. I just think it would look funny, plus I was imagining what that would look like, and while the image of the silent tireless dwarves steadfastly picking the bricks out of a wall while his comrade picks the bricks out of the floor beneath him, and another behind, etc was hilarious, it does seem like the sort of thing that should one day in the distant future be altered so the dwarves look a little more like master craftsmen.
