Welp, I've been nerfed. I'm going to go read the Psion manual for a little. Telepaths, man. Tempting.

Does it count as a nerf if it's just that the DM isn't making houserule exceptions for you? It's like playing with Nerf stuff and then bemoaning that you can't convince it to become denser.

That is a good point, but I'm starting to see Doppelgangers as a sort of gimmick. They sound very cool, but in truth, I'm seeing it as more of a leash holding me back from full Assassin power. The whole prestige second level is also pretty gimmicky. I'm very tempted to roll with psion right now.

Yeah, doppelgangers are really kind of situational.

OK, I think I'm pretty much set.  I have marching orders set, items mostly ready, and my HP rolled; pretty much everything except spell memorization.  Are there any prominent thoughts or mistakes?

HP Roll

((Fins to Feet should also make it really funny the first time I get hit by Dispel Magic. ^_^ I'll have to look for a Ring of Landwalking at some point, or a cheaper version that only grants Fins to Feet since I already have Amphibious))

Here, which I linked before to ask about.  It says a merfolk is about 8' from head to fin, and weighs around 400 lbs.  Which seems like a...significant size to me, especially since she was only supposed to be around 6' originally.
...
I'm changing it back.

Oh, head to fin. Explains it. Two foot of that would be put behind her to keep herself stable when she's on the surface I presume then :P

I think that includes stupid parts of the fin that nobody would care about. That's like pulling your hair straight up and including that in your height - elves would be like 9' tall!

Also, if you're swimming, shouldn't that be "length"? ;P

My HP rolls, three Rogue levels and three Warblade.

Here is my character sheet, still very much a work in progress.

Remuthra, how much would would a pet crow cost? Somebody of us need to sport a bird.
Also, as a Tiefling, is it okay if I get a bit excessive with her appearance, as long as I do not expect any mechanical bonuses from it? Like, for example, having clawlike fingers (but not enough to damage anyone). Though I was contemplating just having elongated nails instead (that start up by the middle knuckle). Arguably that would be more disturbing.

...It may have become apparent by now that I'm planning a bit of a bird theme for this here pirate.

I plan on taking a bird as an animal companion. I am a ranger.

Goth pirates have ravens instead of parrots. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Yep. It's now official. I'm a Psion: Telepath 5, Thrallherd 1.
Character sheet is a WIP.

Edit: Who needs a free crew?
