The armour should be 12500 for the enchantment Weird, half-price due to the houserule on armour enchantments. All good on the rest though.

In that case, I'm bringing the armor up to +4, which would cost 49000 normally, but 24500 under the houserule.

Hehe. Alright. Now, I got a basic crewman sheet here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/43736274/NPC%20Sheets/Pirate.txt (Doing up the NPC sheets so it saves Remuthra some work.) It doesn't include racial modifiers since I don't know what our crewmen will be, nor did I include weapons since I assumed I'd be making them for all the crewmen.

If it checks out, I can start doing a few more for everyone. Also Weird, the ship, and crew, needs a name so...

We will buy, name, staff, and supply the ship once we know how much money we have to put into it.

Fair enough then Weird. I'll get to calculating all the supplies we need at any rate.

Well, it's going to cost a fair bit to keep enough supplies on a ship to keep it going, even for just 20 people (Including the players in that number.) Mind you, that amount can keep the ship out of port for about a month, and that's not including anything we loot of an enemy ship.

Golems might be a bit too heavy for a ship, just saying :P

Slip of the tongue, I meant to say intelligent constructs. Something like the nimblewright would be ideal. You don't need to pay or feed them  :D

That requires me to not keelhaul a wizard. And as far as I can see, that won't be likely :P

How much would it cost to make our ship itself an intelligent construct?

You'd need a casting of Animate Object, Permanency, and Awaken. So a few k gp. The tricky part is you need a cl32 wizard for the animate object part, since caravels are colossal objects.

Currently I'm planning to make a wizard 5/malconvoker 1 character. Eventually going wizard 5/malconvoker 8/Nar Demonbinder 7

I refuse to summon demons by using bad grammar though. Incidentally, that's just silly and would result in the world getting flooded with demons pretty damn soon. There's always some chucklefuck who wants to fill the world with demons.

I'm thinking we take a page out of the viking playbook and make our first couple targets land based. We might not be able to afford much in the way of cannons off the bat.

Well, considering all the races we have on our crew so far, not a bad idea if we shell out for a launch boat and do the attack at night. We could get a LOT of loot that way.

Wait, we're going pirates? ...interesting.

Question for the GM, can I waive malconvoker's alignment restrictions as well?

One of the spellcasters should consider going sea witch(Stormwrack), offers some cool abilities for a aquatic campaign.
