Alright. Iron Will. Can't have my pirate falling victim to mental manipulation from random low level mages who might get in my way. Also quite glad I put so many points into CON. Out of all the d8 I rolled only one turned up above 4.

On to shopping then. I think I may have asked this already, but can I have Tar craft stuff for me during character creation?
If you know them, and they/you are willing to spend the gold and roll for success, yes.

No need to roll for something I can take ten on :P

Current roster is:
Human Wizard with a Magic Missle Fetish
Human Barbarian of the Stormhawk Tribe
Half-Dragon/Half-Drow with a Bastard Sword
Orcish Axe Murderer Seeking Redemption
Hobgoblin Pirate who can Turn into a Shark

Yep, definitely a D&D party.

E: Question for the GM: What's the Manifester Level for the Vanishing Armour mod? Minimum? Character Level?

It's a rather atypical party because normally you can't get players near a boat :P.

Also some kind of orca-man.

[GreatWyrmGold] gets a little crown. May it forever be his mark of Cain; let no one argue pointless subjects with him lest they receive the same.

I'll just go Hobgoblin then, if You'll let me ignore an LA of 1.
For a Dread Pirate? Sure thing.
Dread pirate gets an LA buyoff?

You're joking, right? Given how superior humans tend to be to other races, having this many non-humans is wonderful.

I'm tempted to sign up, since I haven't played in quite some time, but I don't really know much about optimization.  Plus, I see we already have quite a few characters; would adding myself to the list be too many?  If I do make a character, how much waterwork will there be, if we're being pirates with a ship?  I was considering a Mer or Aventi, but I've never done LA before and that 5' land movement is a little troublesome if we work on land a lot.

Well, I'm looking for a crew for my ship, so I for one would welcome a less evil character. Aventi don't have LA and have a 30' land speed.

May also want to take Dwarmin as well Harbinger. Otherwise he'll be a good guy on a ship full of drow, hobgoblins and tieflings :P
