...Cloistered cleric?! THAT'S EVEN WORSE D:
And half the goal of the build has just been accomplished. :3

((But seriously, most of the broken nature of any build comes from the player; a good player can make a monk effective, a bad player can drive CoDzilla or Batman into the ground, and a skilled player can make them effective team players.  I hope for the third, but I'm more likely the second. ^_^))

Oh, Remuthra? Since I was/am a Raptoran, can my fast movement bonus apply to my fly speed instead of my land speed?

And, I don't like Flawless Stride, mostly because I'll never get to use it, but I'm not sure what I'd teplace it with...Improved Uncanny Dodge? One level higher Flying Maneuverability? What do you guys think?

I think we can agree that whilst gliding and/or flying I should get a bonus to Move Silently checks, right? Still might have to make them, what with not being an owl and all, but it makes a bit less noise than walking, I think.

Also, the way the glide works, I think, is supposed to be(RAI) that you can move your full speed for 10 feet of descent. Can we have it work like that please, officially?

:3 Also, I do hope one of you has something that can send me up into the air.

Another thing I think will be interesting; my character is one of the few that truly has a hard weight limit to function, in or out of combat. I could be wrong, but she's quite reliant on flying, so...

I was considering making her a dragoon, :3 She fits it pretty well. I gave her a longspear as memorial to that. And also because she doesn't like it when you hit her with the weapons.

Yeah, but how powerful and gamebreaking a class can become generally is based on the original class. THIS is why spellcasters are so overpowered, they're omnipotent in their skillset.

And RPgeek, your sheet is blank >.>

http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=694286

There we go.

To clarify, if I move at least 20 ft in one round, I get +5d6 damage to each of my attacks. Each. Granted, I only get 2 right now. In two levels, I will get 3, and hopefully have a Splitting bow. Which will mean I will have +6d6. For six attacks.

And also I am sneaky and sensey.

@Rolepgeek: I think you want to take a careful look at the Tactical Aerial Movement rules if you're going to be playing something that flies. They're super fiddly, but they answer your question for you.

First, there's a bunch of restrictions for having an Average maneuverability. While flying, you cannot:
-Turn without moving forward 5' (or expending 5' of movement to turn in place) per 45° of turning.
-Turn in place more than 90°.
-Move any direction other than forward without turning.
-Move faster than half your speed while ascending.
-Ascend at an angle higher than 60°.
-Ascend during a glide without first flying 5' forward without descending.
-Fail to move forward at at least half your speed without stalling.

That last one is the important one here. Normally, if you stall while flying, you either land (if within landing distance of the ground) or fall directly toward the ground at a rate of 150' per round the first round and 300' per round on later rounds, until you either hit something or move forward your minimum forward speed. Gliding builds on those rules by allowing you to move up to 20' forward for every 5' you fall, which just so happens to be your minimum forward speed to stop falling.

So a typical Raptoran flight looks like this:
Rounds 1: Use your flying to double move upward/forward at a 60° angle. This puts you 70' in the air and 20' forward from where you started.
Rounds 2 through 12: Stall, fall 5' and then start gliding. Falling 5' lets you glide 20' forward which is exactly enough to make you stop falling.
Round 13: You're within 5' of the ground at this point, so you're forced to land.

Due to the specific wording of gliding, you can glide more than 20' simply by not taking all of your gliding movement during the first glide in a round. If you opt to glide forward 239.99 inches (a hundredth of an inch less than your maximum of 20 feet), you fail to achieve your maximum forward movement (by a hundredth of an inch), and fall another 5'. This gives you another 20' of forward motion from gliding, for a total of 479.99 inches (or a hundredth of an inch less than 40 feet) that round. Which rounds up to 40' because of how D&D handles intra-square movement.

Additionally, you can probably squeeze in an extra round or two of gliding (depending on your jump score) by attempting a high jump directly before flying. Doing so requires even more trig to figure out though, and is probably not worth it.

Really, a wizard is overpowered regardless of any prestige classes, it just gets a degree of being more overpowered. I'd be fine if you switched wizard out for sorcerer, since there's less potential for abuse there. Besides, summoning a demon right in the middle of a fight would be hilarious.
That's too bad then isn't it? Because I'm not going to change my entire character around on your say so.

Other thing would be the backstory, it doesn't really qualify for evil (Insofar to be pillaging/kicking kittens evil at any rate).
What are you talking about? I haven't even begun my backstory yet, since the DM decided to entirely kick out the underpinnings of my planned backstory.

do have two ships/parties though. And a request for everyone that hasn't gotten a sheet down is to post what they intend to play as (Just class, alignment and race) so we can see who goes on what ship so there isn't too many ideological conflicts.
Huh? Who has the second ship then? And also fuck you.

That would be me.

A lot of it is subject to change, though, especially the alignment.  Lawful Good has a bit of a...reputation, shall we say, almost as bad as Chaotic Neutral.
I should point out, we don't have a Good ship and an Evil ship, we have a NN Honourable Dread Pirate ship and an Evil Dishonourable Dread Pirate ship.
Lawful Good is probably not ideal for either, though I suppose it might work on the Nuetral ship with some good roleplaying.

Still more accommodating to those of the good persuasion at any rate. And Scriver, get to working on yer sheet :P

It got suggested that a Warblade might suit my character; much reading ensued.

70% sure you can apply fast movement to any speed, though not all at once.

Alright. I think I got my skills/class levels fixed. Also shopping is done. Only issue is that I couldn't find the price for a good quality lock anywhere. http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=693375

I spent 26948.2 so far. I think I will hold onto 500 emergency gold. That means I can contribute 4951.8 gold minus the price of my lock to the ship fund.

Also, GM, you can remove my old character attempt from the list in the OP.

While going through inventory stuffs with Taricus earlier today I made a commitment of 2500 to the ship fund, with more possibly coming after I'm completely done buying stuff.

Dishonorable Ship Budget Tracker:
Tar: Contributing 2000
Weirdsound: Contributing 4871.2
Scriver: Contributing At least 2500
Grek: Contributing 2000
Demonic Spoon: Contributing an as of yet unknown amount. (But likely  to be on the other boat)
GWG: Contributing if he plays
Dwar: Contributing 1500 (But unlikely to be on Dishonorable Ship)

Our current ship budget is 11371.2, or 12871.2 if Dwar actually turns out to be on the dishonorable team with that character of his.

Okay. Time to start ship planning. First off positions. The pirate code from the Dread Pirate page mentions that ships should have, in addition to the captain, a first mate, a boatswain (Handles crew and equipment), and a master carpenter. Who wants which? We can dream up other important positions if we get other players.

Second off is Crew and supplies. Tar seems to have a handle on this. Lets see if he can figure out how to get us ship shape and ready to sail on a budget of less than 1400 gold. It might be best to wait until the game starts, so we can do some bartering on this front and perhaps get more for our money. We start at a dwarf fortress, which should have alot of what we need.

Third Off is ship name. Here are some I came up with. Feel free to suggest your own:
Blood Money
Mouth of Mammon
Styxrunner
Rickshaw's Revenge
Foggy Death
Isle Breaker
Birth of Oblivion (Duh)
Siren's Suitor
Fifth Horseman
