With the resources finally in hand you begin work on the next big step in your advancement, the construction of a Naval Drydocks to build Corvette, or Frigate class vessels and strengthen your presence in the area. The construction goes smoothly as you produce five more SCDs to aid in constructing the monstrous facility (in comparison to everything else you've built) and in no time its colossal frame is done and the SCDs are quickly adding on the necessary machinery for production of vessels. As that draws to a close you set up a queue for furhter structures to be built and turn your focus on research aiming to device Orbit to Ground Ballistics, Distributed Computing, and cheap ground droids.
The Ballistics and droids are simple projects to get under way but as you turn to Distributed Computing you hit a wall, and are momentarily locked out before a single sentence rolls through your databanks. 'Directive 3: The AI's 'mind' and form must be located in a singular location, attempts to go against this directive are not allowed and continued attempts to bypass or follow through with such an act will result in termination.' Somewhat frustrated you focus your efforts on the other two projects instead, in no time you finish the drone project and satisfied with the result move onto the Ballistics. However there you are met with some difficulties as you run formulas and derive methods for use on varying forms of planetary bodies, atmospheres, and gravitational effects. You come close to a breakthrough, but do not quite reach it before a few bells go off signalling the completion of the orders you had queued up, turning your attention to the sensor arrays you take a look at your new expansions with something akin to glee.
Now hovering not far from the shipyard a Solar Array Complex adjusts its numerous solar collectors adjusting to maximize their energy gathering, and further off in the asteroid field itself another automated mine roaring to life as it begins to devour the precious resources within.
