Well, we should certainly stay away, until we get some better munitions at least, speaking of we should make a basic solar power array on the asteroid, so it can supply its own power.

Should focus on finishing that Solar Array Complex research then.

Perhaps, but wouldn't the advanced solar panel facility be a bit overkill for one automated mine? It would be good to research it, sure, but we might just need that for something more power hungry than one auto mine.

Not for the mine (Least until we make some giant or a bunch of mines, maybe), just making sure we do finish it as one of the three we can apparently do.

I wasn't saying we should stop researching it, it's a good idea too, speaking of, the second project has nothing on it, any suggestions?

The basic fabricator doesn't appear to be added to the blueprint list.

Research super small repair drones.
Nah. Not that usefull at the moment, since we're facing large structural damage, and enemies which can probably oneshot our drones.

Well, we should certainly stay away, until we get some better munitions at least, speaking of we should make a basic solar power array on the asteroid, so it can supply its own power.
Bad Idea. The solar pannel would only be operating half the time. Better keep solar in orbit, where it's exposed to sunlight much longer.

Research:
1. Continue
2. Research suborbital ballistisc. The only hostile force here is on the ground. Devising simple ammunition to take them out rapidly should be easy.
3. Continue

Construct:
1) 2*subspace power array.
2) Refinery
3) Automated mine
4) 3*harvester drone

Actions:
1) Harvester drones should continue mining

Your primary focus set on the research projects before you, you jump into your work, you are not sure if its hours, or days before you finally manage the completion of all three projects. The resulting influx of new blueprints is quite exhilarating as you gain access to even greater forms of power generation and sensors, on top of that your research into sub-orbital weapons goes well resulting in two different blueprints. The first of which is a heavy weapon, a deal smaller then the weapons any of your drones would field, based off the Yulith-Pattern turrets that is designed for the sole purpose of pumping massive amounts of armor piercing rounds into your targets. The second and final design is a much smaller, compact weapon fit for a small ground based droid of some sort that fires a much lower caliber bullet that, while not effective against armor, should tear up any fleshy or biological opponents your ground forces to be might face.

Elsewhere your SCDs pull out a non-stop construction progress within the shell, massive amounts of your stockpiles and the constantly flow of resources into the stockpiles disappear as they set to work. Within the first hour they build the frames for the power stations and then within four more they manage to finish both power stations and the refinery complex as well surprisingly enough. Soon after they scurry off to set up another automated mine, both of which to now be powered via the transfer stations, on one of the bigger asteroids as your harvesters begin to rapidly deplete resources on various asteroids.

All in all once the massive amount of work you set forth draws to a close you find your stockpiles now brimming with resources to be put to great use in whatever you deem fit to do next. Examining what you've done you're somewhat impressed, at least as impressed as an intelligent computer can get, of how far you've come from the bare bones station you had been a few days ago ...

Begin construction of a naval yard in our hull, and build Basic Gravitational and Geosurvey Array sending equal amounts of  SCD's to both
and then build more SCD's,
Using our Three research slots we
Research a Naval vessal that can hold 3 turrets, is moderately quick, and is large enough to hold either a large amount of ammo, or can be refitted into a larger version of a  Hauler drone

If anyone wants to build on this post, feel free.

I can tell you that the Naval yard is far to big to fit in the station, it is around a fourth of the size of the entire station.

Research advanced sattelite surveillance arrays.

If research is successful, build a watchdog drone using the advanced array and begin actively tracking the energy signatures.

Edit: check the database for high orbital surveillance drones first, no point wasting resources designing one if we already have a suitable blueprint.

Once the signatures have moved from their current position launch the "eye" drones to search the dead vehicles for recoverable weaponry.
If recoverble weapond are found launch 3 Mid-Range Escort Fighter Drones, a hauler drone and an SCD down to the moon a few kilometers away from the energy signature, have the escort fighters guard the SCD and hauler while they remove a weapon and transport it back up for dissasembly.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

The energy signature(s) is(are) already gone, hence why it was no longer mentioned after that point, the guns that were fired at your drones were a much weaker form or simply to few to actually recreate the signal you got.

Naval drydock +1
Logical next step.

Another automated mine
For good measure - we will need the resources soon enough.

Research - Better surveillance +1
We don't want any nasty surprises.

Research - Backup base / server
Even a megastructure surrounding us - think deathstar - is not truly safe. Scattering ourself as an electronic hivemind is.

Research - All-Purpose-Gravity-Unit
Important Criterion - low / no need off advanced ores
A highly modifieable spider-bot - mass, not class. Along these lines will do.

Wait... if the ambyshers werent the energy signal... what was?

Build the sattelite surveillance grid, build it now!
