Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Well,  we already have subspace energy transfer.  It'd be easier just to adapt that.  If it's already FTL energy transmission, we're set.

With your conversation at the end you withdraw your forces, pulling them back into the corvette, and taking off leaving the White Hounds to their own devices as a third drone speeds its way down towards the surface of the moon. Your three Eye drones set to work scattering across the surface of the moon, scouring it for any sign of the Technocracy, well more so for any sign of anyone other then the White Hounds for that matter. Your drones search, and search, and search, but the surface is devoid of all life, all you find are more massive bulkheads like that where the White Hounds where. Some are clearly in the open, and others are hidden away though on a much smaller scale then those in plain sight. Your searches an apparent failure you withdraw the Eye drones, and turn your attention to your growing base in orbit far above.

Your construction efforts have gone extremely well and the Research Lab, and pair of Basic Fabricators you had your SCDs begin construction of are already in place alongside a whole array of turrets bristling from both the Drydocks and the Railgun platform. Even as you inspect the new facilities the replacement droids roll out of the factory already armed with Assault pattern weaponry (Spider Bots equipped with Compact Slugthrowers are Assault droids), alongside them are the replacement Kraken Warheads, and five shells for the orbital railgun.

With all your construction endeavors done you devote yourself to research projects, and in almost no time you have rather astounding results from them. You overcome the last roadblock in your way towards improved passive sensors within minutes of taking the project back up, while your research into weapons fit for use on board ships goes surprisingly well thanks to your prior research into weapon tech. Your major problem comes when, after disassembling a Kraken Warhead, you turn your focus on improving the bomb, it takes sometime but you work out a design that should boost the power of the warhead .... though you're not sure how reliable it'll be and it'll require field testing before you begin mass production.

Research/dismantle the recovered energy weapons and heavy vehicles.

Build the improved sensor hub and fire the new nuke into deep space.

Construct 3 orbital railgun shells and transfer them.

Construct some light railguns and PD autocannons for our mining frigate as well as the relevant ammunition.

Using the mining corvette as ferry was good that one time. What we really need / want are factories on that moon that are able to zerg whoever proves to be our enemy.

I prefer we build this:

'Hunter-Killer' Frigate [Frigate Class Ship, High Simple Metals & Average Advanced Metals & Average Chemicals & Low advanced electronics consumption, 3 Hunter Class Light Railguns & 4 Yulith-Pattern PD Turrets required, long build time]

or this:
Basic Frigate Design [High Simple Metals & Average Advanced Metals & Average Chemicals & Low advanced electronics consumption, ten weapon slots and two missile tubes, long build time]


Also, I believe mining corvette has no weapon slots in it's design, so arming it will require large modifications. This resources can be spent better

I agree with both of these comments, although we should probably finish fixing our rings while we are at it.
