You know what I would like? Some form of context-senstivity for moving around. For instance if I try to walk through a tree, I'd love to be promoted if I want to chop it down. Cuts down on button presses and makes it more comfortable to play. Something UnrealWorld also needs a lot.

I agree, that would be amazing, but it would require some very clever algorithms.  You wouldn't want it to go off if you actually did run into a tree while moving.

Sorry, you're only a week behind the rest.  :)

........
poke????

Noticed an update...
Seems like things are becoming a little more defined...

Still say Stamina drains WAY too fast...
Stamina can be ignored too when it comes to many things where moving isn't needed...
Either Stamina drains WAY WAY WAY Slower or Stamina effects Time it takes to craft, a Fuller Stamina reduces the time more then an empty one...

Noticed some bugs with mousekeypresses. Instead of sleeping I was picking up things and a few other problems such as Hide Tent being chosen over Primitive Shelter...

Talking about the Primitive Shelter, Made one... How do I use???

There are still some bugs there, but you aren't expected to work on an item endlessly.  The new maximum time caps for recipes should help too.  Unfortunately all main coding has been put on hold while I transfer over to libGDX.

Just a quick update.  The port to libGDX is going great!  It looks real sharp and runs baby-bottom smooth.  Probably have a good week's worth of crap to work through before it's finished, but after that I'll be back to regular coding and hopefully can clear out some of these bugs.

It's out!  The libGDX version is here.  There aren't really any major game features added in this version, but lots of little graphical touches, so its a bit sharper (and runs smoother!).

Good to know!

How is it using libGDX? Still looking for input on that :)

It's great!  It took me awhile to understand how things worked, but their documentation made that really easy.  Since most of their code has Javadocs (and source) it was easy to see exactly how they were doing things.  I highly recommend it!

Either Stamina drains WAY WAY WAY Slower or Stamina effects Time it takes to craft, a Fuller Stamina reduces the time more then an empty one...

When your stamina is low, the conditions you gain (Tired, Exhausted, etc.) can affect crafting time.  So it is better to rest than trying to work through.

Noticed some bugs with mousekeypresses. Instead of sleeping I was picking up things and a few other problems such as Hide Tent being chosen over Primitive Shelter...

The mouse should work now in all the menus (except pickup, which is WIP).

Talking about the Primitive Shelter, Made one... How do I use???

It doesn't do anything yet, but it will affect sleep quality soon.  In the future, perhaps even body temperature, but I won't go into as much detail as Unreal World.

New plant system is in full effect.  I won't release the next version with it yet, as I want to finish some more plants and a few more features first.  But there is a new screen showing off the new system.  There are no global season variables, each plant individually decides, based on climate, weather, and solar information when to change its state.  The main goal of this was to create a very realistic plant scheme for the upcoming gardening system that also allowed enough visual variation so you can see changes in plants at a glance while simultaneous gaining global information about the seasonal changes affecting the plants.  The best part of this is when the you are on the verge of autumn and watching as each day goes by that a portion of the plants shift over to their fall colors, then a few more the next day, etc.  Almost as beautiful as the real thing. :D

Also, looks really good so far. I'll more than likely download it with the next version. Keep at it  :)
