I like the concept very much, but I'm too lazy to try out alphas... so I'll just say woo woo and encourage you to keep developing it! Looks interesting on paper.

Yeah, just download and install Java and it should work from there.

can create world but once in everything black with fps at the top anyone know how to fix

How?

I have the latest Win version of Java installed, the file extension isn't recognised - I try and 'open with...' and have tried every .exe file within the Java installation folder - nothing works.

Sorry you are having trouble.  You can try making a batch (text file with .bat extension) in the Fief folder with:

If you're on windows:

Right-click the .jar file
Open with
You should see java there somewhere.

black screen problem can be fixed by pressing new in world creation area there will be a map that becomes available then press start
