He's not wrong though, a hand crossbow is basic adventuring gear.  Or at least a sling.

Hell, even a lowly dagger can act as a ranged throwing weapon.

Kin really needs to get in on this group, if for no other reason than they desperately need someone that's not dumped Int.

And now we can see where Names gets his acerbic wit from.

I seem to be doing a lot of doubleposting lately, sorry about that.

Update, with paranoia.

True to the Paladin way, the next page is gonna have him saying "but we'll check anyway!"

Rogues find traps and disarm them. Fighters don't find traps, and walk into them. Paladins find traps, then walk into them anyway.

I reckon they find Kin and also my favourite murderous dwarven paladin.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

I'm gonna have to reread the entire comic because I've entirely forgotten what it was that Minmax did to fuck up his relationship with Kin in the first place. Unwanted grabbing unintentionally reminiscent of what Goblinslayer was doing? How'd she get that metal arm and paper dragon familiar? I've forgotten like 90% of everything I ever learned about this comic.

Broadly, nothing. His gift to her that made her realise he cared about her (the source of the KEN from her IME) got unmade in a nonexistence crack by a sinister alt-Kin.

And the arm/dragon presumably came as offscreen spoils from the dungeon she stayed in while Minmax went goblin-ing.

aaaaaand that made me go archive-binge for a while. Damn is this comic painful.

Also, in response to Xan's question, this is from this thread's OP:
In recent comic news, what the fuck, Minmax. No. Bad.

Past Xan didn’t include a link to the specific page he was talking about. I’ve been overdue for a binge of the comic anyhow.

Okay, so, when did Minmax gain enough wisdom to make judgments like that?

Also, update.
