Also I'd like to point out that the last two titles for this thread were the result of something I said.

Update!  Black&White for now.  I'm not even going to try to link it for posterity this time :P
But uh, yeah... why don't they try that?  (Once again, reminds me of something our DND party would have done!)

Wait, did Fumbles just duplicate Minmax's awesome sword? That is both so cool and so dumb at the same time.

Nah, sorry.  It's unclear because of the B&W, but they're just roleplaying in the corner while the others try to plan.  It's a little more clear if you reread the end of the previous.

Actually, who do we expect the new teller and chief to be?  I actually am not sure...
Thac0 is my pick for chief, both preference and prediction.  You'd think they'd remember the doom prophecy and choose someone else, but... well, yeah.
For teller, I'm really not sure, but I'm hoping for Big Ears.  Or maybe Kickaxo, actually!

Complains might be my favorite character (in the current group) but I don't see him in either role.  *maybe* chief, but that'd be dodging the prophecy.

That sounds right, maybe!  But the wiki is even less complete than the on-site archive (seriously, what the fuck sort of site software is he using).
Bit busy, maybe someone else could find an answer?

Right, he was! Kind of a 'you chief now, you owe allegiance to me else I kill you so now I own your tribe' type deal.

Re: Goblins: Fuck the sacredness, we're in a hurry
« Reply #925 on: November 19, 2016, 05:16:41 pm »

But this is implying that only the Teller can actually name the chief.  Though under White Clan law, maybe their teller is sufficient.  And maybe that actually does count for other goblins?  Literally just up to Magylubet (sp) I guess!

I'm moving my bet to this being another "Haha no you don't get nice things", justified by the (ancient) Dies Horribly arc.
Because Goblins is much like Prequel.  The tagline is basically:  Making Goblins Cry

Well, at the least they probably get a fortune teller, who...
Fortune telling is just one of the elements this comic uses to make goblins cry. Hrmm.

Wasn't Dies-Horribly nearly made chief earlier? And in that case, couldn't thay have used any fortune teller and not necessarily one from their clan?

IIRC, DH refused, so they decided to put him to death. But ghost-lip Orc guy came in a murderated everything.

Or is Vorpal Kickasso 1/11 fortune teller in there somewhere?

Another update, one I really like.  Big question, being addressed...
Maybe a stretch "Godgob", but seems appropriate for thanksgiving-time (;

So only like two or three weeks until the whole story's wrapped up, right?
