Well dang.
...
Still brings up the question of how the axe broke in the first place though.
http://www.goblinscomic.org/04132016-2/

He hit the axe with the axe and bad things were the result.

Well, more accurately, it was finally snapped from attacking his allies, but like he said he attacked Kore from behind, weakening it, attacked Vorpal, and then it got finished off with the trickery.

God its satisfying watching things made of bone explode into tiny pieces. Especially when said things are rude smart-asses.

EDIT:

Also, its nice seeing the protagonists have a straightforward combat victory. Sometimes I forget they can even do that.

...

Cue the thing reassembling itself and taking a month of updates to put down.

Why the heck is it that I can never seem to get links to this comic to work for me?

Oh yeah, that's not on your end.  That link was tough to get, too, I had to try a few numbers until it worked at the time.
Maybe he edited the image or something.
I wish it was easy to get a permalink like in Order of the Stick:
http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1055.html

But instead it's this weird datestamp-dash-index thing.  And I don't know an easy way to get it until a new page is out.

I can confirm he edited the panel since its been posted. Try just putting in goblinscomic.org, that should bring you to the latest page.

Yeah, it's just nice to be able to permalink the comic for posterity.  OotS makes that real easy.

Is Thunt still aggressive in pushing his views on equality? And have they changed since 2013?

Not sure which sort of equality you're offput by, exactly.

Trying to be polite to avoid the fire.
Me and him had an email exchange once consisting of a single back and fourth that took me from being an ardent fan to never reading his comics again. I am looking to see if he changed his general attitude.

Well, given that none of us were participants in those emails it's hard to tell if any specific beliefs of his have changed, especially since he doesn't talk about that stuff quite so much anymore. I remember like 6 months back or so he used to mention feminism and stuff sometimes in his blog thing? Not so much now, and he did have that one giant breakdown a while back that may have been part of what you experienced or somesuch? Dunno, wasn't there.

No worries, let's put this behind us and instead speculate on where exactly the plot's going now.

Like what were the goblins even going into the dungeon for? To get away from Kore, I think?
