Alas, poor Forgarth. I knew him well.

Well nice try, good effort. I bet Minmax will be pissed; it's sure going to be hard to prevent the Goblins and Minmax from killing each other. Also, I keep wanting to write "Minimax" instead of "Minmax", since the former is both a clear word and the actual game theory term.

Minmax multiclasses into cleric to resurrect Forgath?

Why did the goblins go to this temple place anyway?

To get to a thing. I don't really remember what the overarching plot was, but they were told the main quest led through there.

Sigh, I'm pretty sure the author of this comic is trying to fight overpopulation by driving us all to suicide.

No he's got a shitload of Mary Sues and his favorite is clearly Kore. I'm actually really surprised he's killed anyone off at all, such as the ranger guy. Kore will find some suitably dumb way in and screw everyone over but they'll win in the end and we'll be expected to have all the relieved and happy feels about that.

Because a main purpose of the comic is to establish characters just to suddenly and brutally off them while laughing maniacally?

He doesn't really establish them though. It's more like "this guy's a badass with little dialogue, look how badass he is, everyone's afraid of him, now watch my protagonists inevitably defeat him."

I guess it's my problem with railroady DMs being projected on a D&D comic that is of course on rails, because it has an author and he's making decisions, not taking requests.

If Kore ends up getting sidetracked and the party is slain by a wandering encounter of giant slugs, I guess I'll ned to rethink my position.
