It'definitively the wrong eye. Kore has his RIGHT eye hidden, while Forgath had his LEFT eye cut.
It's most probably a mirror symbolism.

Plus it's like evil Spock had a beard, and good Spock didn't, only in this version evil Forgath had his beard destroyed by goblins, and good Forgath's beard is indestructable.

It looks just like MM's hand-shape to me. Remember, his armour changes colour, and that looks a lot more like blackish grey rather than Forgath's steely blue. Oh, and dwarves only have four fingers.

...No. Look at the most recent strip again. The second panel. Forgath is looking towards the audience, and the eye on the right side of the panel (i.e. his LEFT eye) is cut. In the first panel of that strip Kore is facing the audience, and the eye on the right side of the panel (i.e. his LEFT eye) is revealed by the slit in the helmet. If we look at Kore for even a moment his left eye is clearly undamaged, given both that there's no visible harm to it and that if it were he wouldn't be able to see.

Forgath's left eye was cut; Kore's left eye is the one that he sees with.

I'm not good at realizing that sort of thing, especially considering fantasy's propensity to have these sort of things form badass scars that still can be seen from (and yes I just realized Minmax).
