That helmet effect is new, right?  I like it.  He has that special connection with his helmet, which I think got explained in a supporter story.

I assume the spell is Shield of Faith.  I guess it could be Magic Vestment but I'm not sure he's level 5 yet.
Either way, I still like the way Thunt depicts magic effects visually.

Only spell Forgath dropped (that we saw) was Bull's Strength (tho' thunt just wrote 'bull strength'), The helmet just seems to be a more advanced version of his IME manifestation.

Last page he cast Bull's Strength, and he doesn't appear to cast anything this page, so I assume the helmet is just the IME aura of the Bull's Strength spell.

Ah of course!  I didn't check the bottom of the previous page.  Possibly because most of that page is, well, pretty extreme.
So badass though.

I really like the imagery of that panel, like he's standing in front of a gate (the legs of Herbert's 'H'), the defiant, enraged look of righteous fury, it's really powerful.

Edit: I know where I am, and that someone is going to give me shit for this, but Idle and Forgath are really cute together.

Update! Both with neat character development and cool magic, though I've forgotten why exactly they're reforming the infected Klik.

I believe because killing it and reforming it will cure it of its corruption?

An update! I'm sure this won't have any drastic consequences. Also Idle will probably either permadie or become a weird pseudo-love interest for Forgath in the future.
...
This whole arc with these characters has been kinda weird. I don't think I can rightly call them a plot contrivance, but at the same time we really don't know them all that well, even Idle.
Mayhaps that's just me though, but the way they ended up involved with this whole plot is ... it feels oddly contrived in a weird way? Or at the least I don't really feel any attachment to them.

I can't really give this any substantiation until I do that rereading I've been meaning to, but it still feels disconnected from whatever the main plot is, like a really long side quest.

Yeah, these two just don't have the plot weight of the main characters. As much as I enjoy their concepts, I'm not particularly invested in their story compared to, for example, Dies Horribly or the Minmax/Kin OTP.
