Welp.

As an aside, it doesn't look like the Indiegogo campaign is gonna succeed. Kind of a shame.

As of this morning, the Indigogo campaign has met their goal! $248,099 out of $248,000. It's tight, but they met it, and might get a bit more today before the campaign ends.

That was unexpected. When I checked about a week ago, this project only reached like over half its funding. That's a big turnaround.

Wow. Hopefully this means they don't fall into an endless feature creep trap due to extra funding? :P

Well damn, that is a big turnaround.

Well, I wish them luck with producing the thing - goblins going to an animated state is certainly an interesting prospect.

In less good news

Quote from: Kickstarter update
Tarol Hunt, our amazing co-creator has had an aneurysm and had to be airlifted to a big city hospital. I don't know all of the information on the ground, but Tarol is in a lot of pain (although he's lucid) and he goes in for an angioplasty tomorrow.

Jeez, life fucks Tarol more than Kore fucks his characters. Best wishes for him to recover safely, then.

Worst part is he was streaming while bleeding from his brain on Christmas Eve according to his twitter. Shit, now I'm going to be worried about my own headaches for a while.

Evidently he’s lucid, albeit in quite a bit of pain, and has undergone surgery today to fix the underlying cause of the aneurysm itself. So hopefully that went well.

And some more good news with the animated series getting funded.

For as hard as life kicks him in the balls with his physical and emotional well-being, he sure kicks back.

It doth appear that he's in recovery now and everything worked out, with quite a bit of luck on his end. So that's fortunate to hear.
