This is a game about two factions sending wave after wave of mooks at each other, while heroes help fight or faff about elsewhere. Said heroes can gain experience and grow in power; find, forge, or buy items for themselves; and even build structures to assist their faction, including by producing more troops. When one side or the other manages to push into the enemy's base and destroy all of its troop producing structures, they win.

Ideally, once one side wins, a new round can begin. If this ends up happening, the results of the previous round may influence future ones.

Details on lore, signing up, and some sample mechanics in action can be found below.

There are 2-3 slots on each faction, for 4-6 players total. First come first served. You may reserve a spot, but they'll only keep so long, and if you don't declare your preferred faction it may be taken. I may add additional things to do (ie fight) if it seems like there's not enough for the current heroes to do.

Name: Nepthym Heliopsis
Tribe: The Rah'ci'til
Faction: The Guard
Description: Nepthym is a female Rah'cl'til of about 23, with fair, shoulder length blonde hair and eyes colored completely electric blue-no whites. Her skin is a warm bronze tone-in many ways, she represents the 'Angelic' figure of legend, her body chiseled and perfected as befitting an instrument of the Gods. Otherwise, however, she appears to be a human-and a fairly scrawny and underfed one, at that. She has a dark black blast mark in the center of her chest, one that can be usually be seen even through her clothes, and never fades. She's almost armed with a blade or three, and a wise person can't help but get the feeling she's much faster, and perhaps more cunning than meets the eye. For a servant of the light, she is remarkably comfortable fighting from the shadows.

For her story, she is one who was born and died and born again. Nepthym is among those who are touched by the divine blood from birth, and thus sworn to the deities of Law and Order by birthright-even against their will. Though she fought this fate in her first life, cruel death claimed her-and after a period of rest, her spirit was called to battle once more. This time, the Lords of Order have sent not only her, but a host of Rah'-those first living, and resurrected-to aid the Emperor in claiming the world against Holo's designs. She herself has little choice in the matter, but hopes the fighting is resolved quickly and honorably. Maybe then she can live her second life better than the last.

But, first they have to win.

Tribe Description: The Rah'ci'til often call themselves the 'Suntouched' or sometimes 'The Crows of the White' for those more sarcastic-for each and every one is but mortal, yet contains a trace of divine energy within them, usually from a unique birth. They are a disparate people, sometimes compelled to serve against their will, and maintain a streak of stubbornness all the same-much like a flock of birds will be drawn as one group, they find themselves pulled along to whatever cause they are chosen to be champions for. Over time, they have gathered into a race of people that are prepared to fight and act at a moments notice-always serving the call. In truth, law and order are the cornerstones of their existence-and when they build, they build magnificently. They themselves almost resemble statues, and disorder and imperfection is highly unwelcome in their lives. Death does not ever truly claim them, lest they become corrupted to their divinely lawful natures-though they can be killed, and it is not easy to return from the lands of sleep. The Lords of Order are not known for their pity-and, view such failure with disdain. In time, however, and with need and the proper ceremony, a Rah can be called back to battle again and again...much to their own hardship.

As servants of the Lords of Order-a compendium of powerful Order Gods-they often call upon these abilities in battle-even the least of Rah can easily channel divine energy-they've even discovered, in true mortal fashion, how to distill it into a potent compound. This 'liquid light' flows like water through the lands they inhabit, and it's used in constructing their most powerful artifacts and buildings-they call it 'Somulus'. This, along with Harmonic Marble (a quarried mineral from the order plane) form the cornerstone of their economy and trade.

Ironically, they build few mere temples for servants of the Gods-their worship is existence. Instead, they prefer to construct powerful symbols of order and function, creating geometrically sound ley-lines to reinforce their own power. With enough energy, the Rah can (and have) converted entire worlds into planes of law-but at the lowest levels, they can merely empower themselves and their allies with blessings, draw summoned soldiers and creatures from divine armies to aid them in combat and, return their own to the fold from beyond the veil of death.

Might as well paste a reservation here.
Name:Throokor Siponai
Tribe:Gemonothis
Faction:guard
Description:highly trained in the art of warfare and diplomacy, he is highly aggressive in battle, ferociously attacking with any weapons at his disposal, regardless of personal safety, being hyperactive and very erratic has a frightening habit of becoming more ferocious and unforgiving the longer he fights, eventually attacking any enemy in sight without regard for what can happen.

He seems quite forgettable appearance wise, being averagely tall and thin and lanky, however this gives the impression that he is quite weak while his string bean kind of muscles make him tough and hard to take down, he wears a specially crafted mask that diagonally splits from white to black right on the middle with the only visible features his eyes, mouth and ears with his eyes being bright green and unmoving giving an impression of him staring into your soul if he looks directly at you and his mouth and ears being almost completely white, one of the only things showing his albino appearance, with most of his skin covered in a basic cloth garb with the symbol of Gemonos, a black and white heart on the middle.

Tribe description:the tribe Gemonothis is highly based around duality and their own vision of a god who has two faces and two personalities and because of this, any person in the tribe who shows a particular aptitude for a certain profession will be by law forced to learn a profession of the opposite type, as well as this they also give a special handcrafted mask to any person who has reached the top of their profession with the two colours symbolising the jobs they hold and as such in diplomatic communications with this tribe ''show me the two face" has become a coined phrase and it is (outside of their tribe) a definite symbol of them being the best at what they do and is also a definite symbol of trust between the two factions as unless the Gemonothis tribe trusts the other tribe, they are extremely reluctant to show their best people.

((That good?))

Holy carp. Interested, will probably post a character sheet, refusing to reserve on principle more than anything else.

Name: Kaybull
Tribe: Drakepool
Faction: Yes.
...If I need to pick one and stick to it, the Guard.
Description: Kaybull is a Drakepool of unusual skill and unusual independence. He has picked up one positive habit that members of other races greatly appreciate: He will not seriously injure anyone without getting paid first.
Tribe Description: The Drakepool tribe is a tribe of reddish dragonmen with black heads. They are fearsome and fearless warriors, renowned for their battle "tactic" of having a few dozen friends charge haphazardly at enemies and attacking them randomly. Drakepools are perfectly able to test out many kinds of randomness, because should a Drakepool fall, he will (eventually) heal from any wounds short of total dismemberment or incineration*. However, perhaps as a result of their regenerations, Drakepools (especially the warriors, especially the experienced ones) are insane. Between this and their regeneration, the Drakepool puts no significant penalty on murderers...although cremators are some of the worst criminals to the Drakepool tribe. Their preferred weapons are usually katana and firearms.
There are Drakepool hunters, pastoralists, smiths, and even some weavers and farmers, but the commonest profession is some variation on mercenaries. Drakepool mercenary companies are usually a combination of drinking buddies and several-man army.
Materials: [g]Gunpowder[/b], two undefined.

I feel so bad, 4 hand crafted tribes and everyone went and made their own tribes,

Not to say that those custom tribes aren't really cool however.
