Lawful Good? More like Awful Racist.

Considering in DnD several races are quite explicitly almost all evil then to be honest seems kind of fair. Unless they're dark elves, which are all renegades, longing to throw off the reputation of their evil kin.

Are there other bard spells available than those in the phb, and if so where can I see them?

Here, down by the bottom. Listed by level, even ;)

I'm pretty sure that lists the spells from many splatbooks as well as the base ones.

Technically, most are "usually
  • evil," which means that 70-90% ping as "evil" on Detect Evil.

I could see "most" meaning 51% fall into that category, and "usually Evil" means they occasionally have a Good day. Or at least Neutral.

In my gaming experience, Gig has it right. There are even enormous communities of Good drow just scampering around trying desperately to get everyone to Please Think Of The Children. And trying to escape persecution. Although, pretty much, toss a Color cantrip on and put a leaf in your hair. Go frolic! But no, gotta keep the spiderweb goth getup.

Let's see how elves associated with the various venomous animals stack up:

Spider elves: Bad news
Snake elves: Bad news
Poison Tree Frog elves: Bad news
Platypus elves: Huh? Oh right.
Jellyfish elves: Jelly fishing! Jelly fishing!

How about:
Squirrel elves: cute
Wolf elves: loyal
Bear elves: fine, but watch your pik-a-nik baskets

Much less:
Santa elves: yay!
Keebler elves: munchies!
Valley elves: like, woah, totally!

It's all about branding.

Would need a reason in-character, and I'm not going to go flexing the personality back and forth to make one.  If a reason arises to stow stuff aboard you, absolutely, but I imagine that'll come after we manufacture piggyback riding.

Edit: Say, Rem, I've been thinking about running a game here, but I've never ran any kind of game successfully.  Would you be interested in running a (potentially) high-fatality Sci-fi-but-not-quite multiplayer survival as Co-GM?  (It'd be ran in the same universe setting as a book I'm attempting to write, but limited to a single planet.)
