What would it be like to live in a world that was copy/pasted? Would we even notice? If not, how many times have we switched celestial harddrives or whatever?

Put a few of them up for goblin adoption. That is, put them in an outdoor burrow near the edge of the map.

Just change the setting to a lower cap for number of children. Eventually the excess ones will grow up, get kidnapped, or meet their demise.

Besides the bad thoughts, I'm curious as to what would happen if that many children were kidnapped. And how you would ensure they were all nabbed. Maybe make a Little Lamplight on the surface.

Now that you mention it, I'm curious whether the goblins can draft any of your dwarven children as soldiers, once they're old enough, and send them to attack you. Probably not, but man, what a homecoming that would be.

Clearly you should go to dwarf therapist, enable child labor, and make leather shoes for export.

This is a worthy experiment. I'll get as many kidnapped as possible, hopefully without too many getting outright slaughtered by sieges.

This is, in fact, possible. The wiki has a few documented cases if I recall correctly.

Slumber party with the vampires?

Either that or a child swimming pool with a few cave crocs

Forget the crocodiles, the swimming pool itself will be enough.

Release them into the caves as cheap scouts.

cheap scouts FB food.

There are at least forty FBs in my caves since I never breached openings past year one or two. I'm going to need a serious military before I even think about opening up the caves.

Kill every adult or nearly-adult dwarf and have a child fortress.

Release them into the caves as cheap scouts.

cheap scouts FB food.

Send them on a right of passage quest into the caverns. Those that survive will be heralded as heroes. No outside help from the fortress.

Although this is likely to end as them being cheap scouts and FB food.

Honestly, though, it's not that bad of an idea. I can be pretty selective about which children go and which ones stay by proper burrow designation, and then once I pull the lever to open the drawbridge, I can make them move by designating meeting areas. They'll all die because I don't want to bother getting them back inside with FBs chasing them, but at least I'll know what my caverns look like a little more accurately.
