After nearly being hit by one of Alex Shater’s vicious blows Sir Hansen fell once again behind his shield as he watched the remaining heroes battle it out.

Brewmaster Yoohoo was attempting to defeat the even more handsome than ever Handsome Stranger though it the latters shield was proving to be as sturdy as its weilder’s unwavering handsomeness. It was Cromwell Jackson who finally stopped the stalemate with a savage swing of his hatchet which found purchase in the Brewmaster’s arm. If it were not for the many layers of metal Yoohoo would be one arm short. As it were the Brewmaster ceased his attack and shoved Cromwell Jackson away with two fully functioning arms.

Unfortunately such a stalemate could not be found in the duel of Alex Shater and Raalup the Great One. While Raalup tried to live up to his lofty name he found his attacks deflected again and again by the much more battle hardened Alex Shater.

“Why is it that every time I try to kill one of you bastards I cannot seem to hit!?” Raalup shouted in frustration as he jabbed at Alex Shater.

“Simple, the gods do not favor tyrants!”

“Oh please! I’ve gathered what happened. You only switched sides when you saw the battle turn. If were were winning at the time you’d still be on our side!”

“Is that so?” Alex Shater smiled at that.

“It is traitor!”

“Oh? Do you know where I grew up then?”

“A small village north of Araisan. You never shut up about it in the bar-“ Raalup was cut off by Alex Shater’s morning star colliding with his weapon, shattering it easily.

“Does it not strike you odd that I kept talking about it?” Alex asked as he performed a second swing that caught Raalup in the arm breaking it easily as well causing Raalup to shout in pain “Hm? Why would someone keep talking about their home-town like that? How many times did I mention the name?” A third swing broke Raalup’s leg sending him to the ground “A hundred? A thousand? How many times did I actually mention anyone there?” A fourth swing and another arm broke. Alex was clearly enjoying the pain of his adversary “Simple, I wasn’t from there! I was born in Fruidion. You heard of it? Of course not! You damn Araisan’s slaughtered the entire village and burned it to the ground!” A fifth swing saw Raalup’s only remaining extremity broken “Well I’m not bitter or anything… But I’ll see Araisan reduced to ashes… You can bet on that.”

Through his pain Raalup managed to grunt out “Long… Live Araisan!”

*CRUNCH*

“Don’t get ahead of yourself.” Alex Shater muttered as he whipped the remains of Raalups brain from his weapon.

"I say, why don't we make this easier and surrender, Sir Hansen? It's looking like we're not walking away from this otherwise. It'd really simplify things, too. We could be done within five minutes if we did, no?"

"Well, I'm just saying that we don't seem to have weapons that can properly hurt this lot, and drinking's way better than fighting, anyway. So we can just streamline the process and all that."

I blame you, Nerjin

You keep misinterpreting my actions. I didn't say "Fail horribly at trying to touch them", I said "KILL THEM ALL AHAHAHAHAHA"

I vaguely remember something about you saying that Ozarck shall not have 1HP this turn, since Axe's attack didn't actually hit him.
