Henry of the Holes takes a moment to explain the situation as he sees it to Sir Jackson opposite him.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

I'm down for joining this.

Name: Lachlan DeGroot
Side: Whichever has the fewer men either involved or waiting to get involved (side B at time of posting)
Class: Pikeman

DeGroot is a hard-talking, hard-punching, hard-drinking Scot with a comprehensive knowledge of all common battlefield weapons and popular liquors. It is said that his beard grows a new hair every time he swears - indeed, his gigantic ginger facial outcropping adds levity to this tale.

Fane took the moment to check the weather, as anyone adept with battle put to heart: terrain and climate, as the primary factors in a major battle. The skies were overcast. Dark clouds bordered the horizon, and the faint pallor of the sun was seen heading westwards from the brink of noon.

It was a good day.

A good day to die, so the bards and minstrels say.

Her attention was captured by the others around her, and saw how they died and battled. The two who had attacked her prior, she bet, would commence their striking pattern once again. She mused if the rest could hear over the clamor of battle, her orders.

"Rally! Rally! Men and Women of Breston! Strike as one, once again!"

With that, she lifted her tower shield as a crossbowman would a pavise and shifted her stance to one taught to her long ago, in a field of mud and rain.

Defend!

“So… Still not considering my offer?” Henry of the Holes asked Cromwell Jackson who was beating against Henry’s shield with all the fury of a man possessed.

“FUCK OFF AND JUST DIE ALREADY!” Each word punctuated with a savage swing that invariably connected with Henry’s shield.

It was with a sigh that Henry blocked the next flurry of blows “Y’know, this isn’t really getting you anywhere…”

Not far away Fane Ravien was thinking a very similar thought as she warded off both Alex Shater and Roliep “I’m wasn’t promoted to this position because of my pretty looks you know. Surrender and I promise no harm shall come to you! I am a woman of my word, unlike your leaders. Our anger is directed at them and not you!”

“Lowly pirate bitches should know their place!” Alex said as he slammed his weapon full force into Fane’s shield knocking her off balance momentarily.

“It’s in hell!” Roliep quipped as he jabbed his spear at the off balanced commander who laughed aloud when he managed to connect only with shield.

Regaining her balance Fane Ravien couldn’t help but laugh “They send men this inexperienced to fight us? Is this the best of their power? A man who can’t even hit an opponent who is off guard?”

“Your shield won’t protect you forever!”

Growing deadly serious Fane replied “And you your pathetic leaders.”

“You there!” Shouted Knight Matis as he pointed Mourning Star towards James “Your time is now! Stand aside and allow me to face your leader in combat or I shall be forced to run you through!”

“Just try it!”

“Look at yourself man! You’ve barely got a single arm! You expect to defeat me?”

“Of course not.”

“Then why do you stand in my way?”

“Because I expect to kill you!”

“So be it!” with a speed that only the most trained of men could follow Knight Matis charged James. Unfortunately for James he was not a ‘most trained’ man. Unfortunately for Knight Matis however was the fact that a Claymore is quite large and, as such, when James swung it he underestimated its reach and was struck blind by the swords tip shearing through both his eyes.

“AGH! AAAAAAAAGH!!!” Knight Matis cried out as he dropped Mourning Star to the ground as brought his hands to the fountains of blood that used to be his eyes.

“Ha! Fool!”

“I got this.” Leon, a new arrival, said as he walked forward.

It was a sad day for Matis’ progeny, for some still exist to this very day, as Mourning Star was never recovered. Some say it still exists amongst the ruins of his home town. Others say that it vanished upon its owners Funeral Pyre. Regardless, it is known that Knight Matis survived Leon’s Morning Star to his head. It is unfortunate that he did however as he laid upon the ground for hours in unbearable pain though paralyzed. His death was a slow and agonizing one.

Ms. Pretty Obvious, seeing the apparent death of Knight Matis, changed her mind. Her original plan had been to decapitate him as he screamed for mercy. It was Pretty Obvious that it wouldn’t happen. “I’m still pretty…” She mumbled as she looked for another to attack. Her eyes fell upon Luke. “He’s not! FOR BEAUTY!” She cried as she rushed the man who was caught flat-footed by her brutal charge.

“What?” Luke stumbled backwards as he felt a short sword enter his armor. Thankfully it failed to pierce him in any way. “You ugly bitch! This was my favorite armor!”

“I’m PRETTY!”

“I’ll say. However, you are an enemy so away with you!” a large man with a larger axe rushed the female and kicked her, quite hard, away from Luke.

“Thanks! Uh… Who are you?”

“I am Axe the Not-Yet-Undead Pre-Zombie.”

“What?”

“I am Axe, the Not-Yet-Undead Pre-Zombie.”

“Great… Saved by a fucking loon…”

What? Letting him die immediately? No. That wouldn't do. Now stop being cowards, get out from behind your shield, and decapitate each-other!

Yeah. That's what you get for letting your team-mate keep blocking. Remember children, slowing down my game results in more and more brutal deaths. Not really...

Hey! I can't get them to stop blocking! Only the captain would be able to get them to! And he is, kind of not doing much.
