Name: Vetra L. Sovokos
Gender: Female
Age: Estimated; 24-26
Origin: N/A
Apperance: Tall (6'1) with noticeable muscle tone. Fair skin; her burn marks have been removed by surgery, but traces of them can still be found upon close observation. Natural hair and eye color are red and hazel respectively, but the color of both change frequently.
Equipment:IPF-795 Version 2.5: A portable single-man Flamethrower; equipped with an advanced lighting system and hybrid fuel, it can burn and melt through concrete, metal, bullets, armor, vehicles, and what-not. While it has the capability of obliterating everything in its range, its range itself is limited to close-quarters. The updated brings more fuel capacity and also incorporates safety features to prevent self-explosions.
Heitzvach "Dragon-Breath" Combat Shotgun: A secondary weapon made for close to mid-range firefights, made to penetrate armor, cover, and multiple soldiers simultaneously. Can be switched between semi-automatic or fully-automatic fire. Equipped with grip and scope to improve accuracy. Vetra prefers to load it with incendiary ammunition.
RPG-84: A tubular device loaded with rockets. Fired from the shoulder, the rockets fly out and explode upon contact with a surface, resulting in a powerful explosion. Although designed for anti-vehicular purposes, it can target damage infantry and structures with similar results. Equipped with a scope for precision.
9MM Pistol: A reliable and accurate pistol, though it is rarely ever used by Vetra. She only carries it as a last-resort weapon or on missions where stealth is required, as it carries a silencer.
Iridium Axe: An Axe made from Iridium metal, with the purpose of hacking and cutting through any obstacles or rubble that stands in the way during battle. Can also be utilized as a deadly weapon.
Incendiary Grenades: Primed and thrown like regular grenades, but instead of resulting in a mess of flying fragments, these ones explode in a fireball that engulfs the surrounding area and then sets it aflame. Think of them as the Professional Molotov Cocktail.
Gas Canisters: Canisters that can be either timed or set to explode after contact with a hard surface. The canisters explode into a gas that is non-lethal, but very painful, giving victims a sense of being doused with acid. Canisters can be fired from a shotgun, launcher, mortar, or any other appropriate tool.
ELZ Battle Suit Type-D: A heavy battle suit made of Iridium and other metallic substances. The battle suit is made for front-line soldiers taking the brunt of initial fire. Because of this, protection and stability are its most important features, with mobility and speed being secondary. The standard Battle Suit is meant for firearm and fragment shielding, while the Type-D is a special even heavier variety built for soldiers that deal with explosions and debris, giving it increased fire and blast resistance. It is not fast by any means, but it's metallic covering allow its user to do things like punch through walls, useful for "making enemy combatants shit their pants as someone busts through their base like the motherfucking Kool-aid Man." (Direct quote from the suit's manual.)
Personality: Too erratic to be described simply, Vetra at least seems happy enough for herself, even if no one else can quite comprehend her.
Biography: Vetra was found in an orphanage at a young age, her parentage unknown but assumed to have been killed during the fighting of the Tegorowitz Civil War. In addition to the psychological trauma of the war, it also seems to have resulted in physical damage to her brain. In most cases, the damage would have resulted in disability or impairment, but not in her case.
After receiving basic education, Vetra was enrolled into the Mossovian Academy for Young Ladies. She always displayed some abnormalities, but they only became especially noted at the Academy, where she frequently was in trouble from bizarre behavior, such as stealing the pets of other students or lighting laundry on fire. As a solitary girl, Vetra spent her free time in a unique mix of intellectual and bodily pursuits, spending equal amounts of time in the academy's library as its gym. She eventually would become the Captain of the Debate Team, Chess Club Chairwoman, and won various sporting awards. She was especially gifted at Gridiron Football in which she not only became Quarterback, but also the leading Offensive Player of the Year in her province each year at her academy. During this time, her IQ was tested, and although most times she would not cooperate with the tests, the few successful testings put her IQ in the range of between 180-225.
Graduating from the Academy, Vetra had tough luck finding an accepting University. She was undeniable brilliant, but her bizarre and prolific criminal record barred her from most schools. One that did accept her application was the Trice Military University, a school for upcoming soldiers and professionals. She enrolled and was quite successful, achieving a proper friendships for the first time in her life. She still had her bouts of trouble, but the officials of the university saw enough potential in her that they let her acts slide. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, and just in time for the war to begin.
In the initial fighting, Vetra could not seem to find a suitable position. Standard infantry was too blase for her tastes. Engineering was too tedious. Sniping too boring. Vehicles lacked proper air-conditioning. Et cetera. However, when she managed to trade her rifle for a civilian's flamethrower, she finally met her dreams. Dreams that ended far too quickly when she racked up as much damage collaterally as she dished out to her enemies. Things looked dismal when she was court martialed, but luck had it that a special task force needed another skilled soldier...
