I'm vaguely worried that the mood/tone will whiplash back and forth between writers, but eh. I suppose I'll give this a shot. Sign me up.

I see this for the first few chapters but I guess this should gradually converge to something we would like. Good for me anyways.

I actually gave the second section a couple of small and mostly inconsequential edits so that the plot wouldn't completely fly off the end out of the starting gate. I'm probably not going to need to do that again.
