I know of nothing that really interests me. I spend my time playing games, not because I like them but because they're the least depressing way to burn my time.
Suggest to me things that I might find interesting. You want some things to work off of? Too bad; like I said, I have zero current interests.
I had a
previous, less specific topic. I've just fucked around since then. I realized today that I don't like it here at college. I'm talking with someone about a different college, but I still don't have a clue what major I should go into.
- Games: I do enjoy some games upon discovering them, but I've played everything I used to like to the point that there's nothing fun about them anymore, just an easy focus.
- Listening to music: Never by itself, can't focus - usually while gaming. Again, I enjoy some upon discovering it, but I listen to it all until it just becomes a pleasant, familiar series of noises, nothing significant.
- Friends: I enjoy talking to friends. However, lasting friendships and conversations involve shared interests, which I don't have. So any lengthy conversations are only about people's lives, and the friendships decompose over time without closeness.
- Internet: Here, a less active forum, a few people on tumblr, a couple of comics. Occasionally there's something novel, but it's mostly uninspiring and just another time burner.
- Philosophy: I think about how things work. I think everyone does, so nothing special here.
- Chainmail: I like seeing the neat arrangements, so I make them myself. It gives me time to listen to music too. But it ends up being too much work for so little, so I rarely do it.
- Reading: I like to get things out of books. I want to know a lot of things and make use of them. But it's hard for me to focus on reading, and to keep reading instead of doing other things. I've tried recently reading light fiction, but even that's not easy, and I get hardly anything out of it.
So. Share your interests, what topics are generally interesting, things that you think more people should be interested in, other tips for me. I've lost hope for figuring this out alone.
