So... Whats the current mission?

EDIT: Going to be a total noob here, and ask: how do you land on non-kerbin areas and then take off again? I've never accomplished it honestly :-\ And you guys are going to different planets and the like...

It's kinda complicated to explain, so I'd just suggest going to the KSP wiki and looking at the tutorials.

Thanks! In my attempt to lad, I got Jebidiah Kerman stuck into munar orbit... Now I gotta rescue him...

And actually, now that I think about it, I'd like a try, but I hope you don't mind some probe launching

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

A good tip is to head for Minmus first. It's easier to get there, land, and get back from there than the Mun, and it's a lot more forgiving landing there since gravitational acceleration's low.

Getting a kerbal stranded in orbit would make for a good rescue mission, so maybe you should intentionally bite off more then you can chew.

Anything that happens, happens. If you kill jeb or get him on a solar escape orbit... well, it's still the end of your turn. And one launch per turn!

The new save link isn't working either.

I am thinking my mission will be a rescue mission to Eve.
Does the stranded lander have docking ports?

It doesn't have docking ports, though it shouldn't be hard to get close and EVA bill out of the lander.

Jeb to the Rescue!


Jeb has been on vacation the last couple of years, hanging out on the other side of Kerbin, after he managed to land on his head from space, and thus survive.

But when he received the SOS from Bill, he rushed back to KSC, snuck in at night and stole a craft intended for a Münar fly-by.
Jeb thought about not having enough dv to get to Eve and back, so he looked over the Kerbal Engineering Flowchart, and slapped 13 of the biggest boosters he could find.

He waited patiently for everybody to come to work, and blasted off right as they reached the tower.

Should work pretty well, I think. When the research costs ramp up, we might actually run out of science points.
