Timotiev comes along short while later and looks into the box.

"Hmm, damned electronics, I have to pull this out..." He takes a circuit board from inside and blows at it. Some soot falls off. "I will fix it in half an hour or so. Just do your work." He leaves with half of the IDCONFIRM machine and you have nothing else to do than open the window.

"Duration of stay?" You're proud of yourself that you are now able to ask those questions without much thought. Almost like a machine. The glorious homeland will be proud of such efficient immigration officer one day.
