So I managed to build a small animal paddock the other day, basicly a horse carpark.

As I am working nights for the next 6 days I wont be able to play until sunday.(25% chance I will be on, on tuesday)

They've killed me twice. Dreddy's once. Their chasing down Mero. The mines have been broken into. I heard them talking in local. Their going to sit on our deed till they drain it free of coins and break the settlement. I caught sight of them building catapaults. There going to destroy everything we have built.

Yeah, the pvp in this game can be brutal if your team has lousy combat skills. You really need a solid group of combat trained characters before building in a pvp area.

I remember way back years ago I was with a B12 group and I was like the only guy who was focusing heavily on combat, and when a group of 5 raiders showed up everyone got massacred. I managed to kill two of them and run away with their loot but was stuck too injured to do anything about the other 3. And we had like 10 people online at the time, just nobody had very good combat skills.

10 combat trained characters showing up pretty much means you're screwed unless you have at least nearly that many people equally well trained to help fight them off.

I'm still voting for sticking in pvp. I see no reason to leave.

Total damage done.

All animals were slaughtered. Stole our compasses. Broke into every house and stole shit. Deed has 40 copper stolen from it.

I lost 4 silver in coins. They took my entire stockpile of four hundred nails. And they stole two hundred 45 ql war arrows. Not sure what everyone else is missing.

Lies - all animals, minus one chicken.

On the plus side, whoever butchered the bulls had a high butchery skill.

Always look on the bright side of life.

well I have finished my night shifts now so I should be back today. Is there anything left to come back to?

On the plus side I still have a compass

They actually left all the buildings. Minus the holes they broke into em.

We've been discussing staying or leaving to a new area.

Well I last logged off in the paddock I built, before the settlement was placed. So it is possible I may be trapped in there and need someone to let me out.

Okay so after this raid, i'm sure some of you would feel unsafe. When Nyan mentioned the island to the north being fairly large I thought we could wall it up and make it our safehaven. Drive off with a knarr when we needed highql resources or something. It takes AGES to bash down a 90ql stonewall, or atleast an hour or two. So we could just wall he island off completely so they can't catapult it.

I think we should find another location. They've broken into that area once before.

That place wasn't walled off! The only walls were near the middle, so people could catapult them! But we're supposed to wall the water edges off :D

Well, the Urist II is nearly finished. I just need a pair of cordage ropes to complete it. Unforunately, we have no hemp and I don't have my rope making skill high enough to actually make cordage ropes. So yay. Guess I get to spend the next hour foraging for hemp.
