You tell him you're willing to help, but you'll need a weapon. In response to this, Hileal grabs a dagger from a scabbard hidden by his cloak and gives it to you.
"Try to avoid getting killed. It wouldn't be conducive to the upcoming mission."
After this rather macabre statement, you head for the grove. None of the wildlife bother you on your way there, but it would seem that a large number of Ley stones have formed, as you can hear an equally large number of kobolds, even from outside the forest.

What do you know about goblins? Also, use Foresight to figure out how many goblins there are.

((Okay, so I've done something kind of weird. I quote the previous update for the statistics, then remove the quotes, but I've somehow modified this post instead. without realizing it. For anyone reading through the archives, the general result was finding that there were probably 10-15 kobolds in the grove.))

Based on your current weaponry and knowledge of Kobolds, do you think you can take them or do you have to be stealthy?

You think of the stories you've heard of kobolds. They aren't particularly strong, and individuals or small groups, which they seem to be composed of, tend to make for a rather easy fight. Large swarms, however, are extremely dangerous. Shamans can pose a slight threat, and if they have a cleric, or worse yet, a warlord, you pose almost no chance of defeating them.

doesn't matter there are only like fifteen kobolds i doubt the will have a warlord with them.
