Holy crap a lot has happened, lehenan shows why he was sent to prison lol. Misguided though he was i think he sent steelhold on its first steps to an independent colony.
Lenehan was sent to Steelhold because he was taking up room in the Mountainhome's prison (no one wanted to share a cell with an elf-lover). Aside from inciting a few riots and committing vandalism, I don't recall him doing anything terrible in his backstory. It wasn't until his arrival at Steelhold and his rivalry with Modi that he became a more villainous character.

That seems like a pretty terrible fate to be condemned to. I'd have trouble sticking to one thing for a few days, never mind three thousand years.

Also, it turns out that Lenehan was Asmoth's nephew, which is kind of odd. He was also Shining's nephew, Shining and Asmoth being sisters. Asmoth and Moisturizer really are friends as well, which is nice. It appears my husband died of old age just at the start of 255, so it seems unlikely Asmoth is going to live long enough for me to take a turn as her, unfortunately. On the bright side, one of my children actually seems to have survived into adulthood, which I don't think I've seen in quite a while. Could I ask that she be assigned medical duties to continue the family business?

Bobrur Shoseleser Ingish Abir seems to be one of the more popular gods in Steelhold. She's the goddess of children, pregnancy and marriage, which may explain why everyone seems to have so many kids.

Haha no big deal just a few riots, just a regular everyday taxpaying prisoner.

I actually forgot that Asmoth was a female. That said, I must say this familial relationship is an interesting thing to find out, considering how important the two characters were to my turn.

I suppose so. Some would say that raising the dead is a bigger sin though.

Fuck it, dwarf me.

Name: Derroth
Crimes:
  • Defacing the Temple of Armok.
  • Spying on the queen bathing.
  • Drawing naked pictures of the queen bathing.
  • Selling said pictures to the elves for booze.
  • Mooning the General.

Don't worry, Asmoth. I'm fairly confident my own dwarf will hit the bucket first. He's actually a couple years older. A shame, really, but I do believe that can be fixed with just a tiny poke in the raws, should you fine folks wish it.

And goddamn. Cousins. Who'd have thunk it.  :o

He has a new dwarf. The one I'm more worried about is Icefire, he hasn't been seen on this post for a while.

Downloaded the save, i'm a bit busy but i should have the posts soon.

Edit: Good god what the hell is this, i've spent the last hour trying to get the bloody workers working, designating new spaces for workshops, i have no clue where ANYTHING is, what is up and down and just how we have this many dwarves stowed here. The farms are tiny as well and we're running out of booze. Argh This is gonna be tough.

Edit Edit: Where the heck are the barracks(es)? I just arghle.
